There was so much great one/two touch attacking football on display last night that I feel sad knowing I have to watch the men’s dross on Saturday. No endless sideways/backwards bullsh*t on display.

They can't be doing it right!

I think the home fans are well outnumbered tonight!

As I walked to Kingsmeadow from Norbiton station there were quite a few people speaking what I guessed must be Albanian hurrying towards the ground. As I got nearer their number kept growing until I entered the stadium and saw what I think must be the largest away contingent ever for any CFCW game. Brilliant turnout by them and, until the stupidity with the flares at the end, absolutely brilliant support by them too. Sadly there's every likelihood of Chelsea being fined for those flares.

Sadly, although Vllaznia were well organised and full of pride, their players are simply not as good as the ones we face in the WSL. They have not mustered a single shot on target in their two group games so far. Last night they couldn't handle our press and simply couldn't keep the ball. This pumped our players' confidence and enabled them to really turn on the style. It hasn't always been so this season but the quality was tremendous last night.

As is often the case when a side puts a lot of goals on the board, we should have scored more. Probably many more given that most of our great moves ended in wasted opportunities or squandered chances.

That Abdullina cross for Svitkova's goal was pure beauty, as someone who used to play LB back then I only wish I could hit one like that. What a great performance.

I felt a little bit sad for the Villaznia side, but their fans sounded outstanding.

Our squad depth is tremendous. There are a lot of good players barely getting a kick. In time this could become a problem but for now it's great to see five substitutions with zero loss of quality. Indeed the struggle to keep everyone happy is going to get harder soon. Summer signing Jellena Cankovic arrived late in the window then got injured on international duty so has barely featured in a match day squad, while Melly Leupolz will probably be back from maternity leave in the new year.

The attendance was 3000 and easily 2000 were Albanians. I almost kind of wish they’d scored just to see what happened.

I read on CWSG that the official number of away supporters was under 500. I do think it was larger than that, the largest ever away contingent in a CFCW crowd I reckon, but I'm certain that the number was nowhere near 2,000. Visually, the home support comfortably outnumbered their visitors.
