Enzo Fernandez - Officially a Blue!

In four years of watching Fernandez, have you seen him deliver any performance worth his price tag? We are stuck with him... It is going to become a major headache for the club

Or even half the price tag ...

If we keep him, and the owners insist that he has to play every game again, then we are basically signing up to fielding another unbalanced team all season with the inevitable consequences. These BlueCo c**ts already have 4 years of data to prove Enzo isn't the answer (if they actually get their heads out of their arses and look at it)

The problem the club has now is that some players don't want to stick around at a club with yet another season with no CL football, and with different managers coming and going every season. . Not only that, but if those players don't leave, we are left with expensive players who don't want to be here but who will have to play.

No f**king good for anyone.

Think they actually banked on selling him this summer, well making one big sale. There was that note in our annual reports that they anticipated revenue of £700m+ this year, with player sales contributing £250m. So far they have banked £50m from the Cucurella sale. They need to find £200m+ from somewhere before the window closes. That is why they are inviting offers, but so far only Chalobah & Andrey Santos have suitors.

Latest accounts surely were for the ye 30/6/25. Any note re sales etc again surely would be for the ye 30/6/26. Yes it’s likely that Cucurella would be in the 26 period alongside most of the players that were sold in the summer& winter windows of 25 but from 1/7 any sales would feature in the ye30/6 /27

Just had a quick look at the accounts and there is no mention whatsoever re anticipated turnover of £700m or that sales of £250 would be achieved.

To be fair something in my memory supports the likely £700m but I think that was just a newspaper article

I agree.

What we may start to see now, is a falling off of the bullsh*t links that we have seen so far, as the penny drops to the mainstream media that we are actually nobodies in this market. I'm sure we will still see links of our sales which will be wildly off the mark which, when we capitulate and sell these players for half of our quoted values, we will again somehow come our with briefings as damage limitationn.

We will top £250 million in sales this window I reckon.

There seems to be concrete interest in a number of our players.

Gusto, Delap, Trev, Neto, Santos along with George and Cucu’s fees already should top £250 million fairly easily.

I expect at least another 3 to go even if all the above move on too.

There hasn't been a bid for any of those players except Tyrique George. We might be able to sell Chalobah, but i am at a point whereby i don't believe that this lot are capable of managing these windows in anywhere near a passable level. Up until this point it is all twitter bullsh*t that they are even being called out on.

The £700m figure was widely reported across the media, by the likes of Sky, New York Times, The Guardian, Fox Sports, so I imagine there was some official substance to the "source" of that projection. It came out when we announced the huge £262.4m loss for 24/25.

Don't need a FOS though. We already have so many revenue streams set out.

The longer this mob are involved with us and more time we spend lurching our way through players, managers and transfer windows the more i am convinced that administration is on our horizon. When this happens hopefully Ares Management will be able to identify sports people interested in trying to salvage the club.

The thing that gets me is they seem to want to sell every player that I actually like and keep all the tossers. It makes it nigh on impossible to build any sort of bond with the team. I don't think they want any actual "fans" because they make so many decisions that drive people away, or make them indifferent.

I'm the same, but i have come to the conclusion that the few players that we have been able to bond with, are the only ones that have any possible trading value. The reason why Garnacho, Badiashile, Disasi, Guiu, Delap and countless other ineffectual players are not in the headlines is because nobody is interested in them as, regardless of the ridiculous briefings from our feeble minded, living stealing, media department, everybody else can see what we can also see. These are not prodigious young talents bursting with potential that the whole of Europe has been chasing, they are actually just ten a penny cannon fodder that we are now overpricing.
