Not used DHgate since the number on my Mikel 10 Nigeria shirt came off in the first wash, sad day for all involved

1) My previously explained issues with megastore order is still not resolved. Got an email from them yesterday to say sorry and give me £10 refund per order (2 separate orders) as still not shipped and still no date on when they will be sent. Appalling delay (now 3 weeks since the order)

 

2) Infinite athlete sponsorship now approved. Will be on our shirts for fulham game.

On 1: They wont ship my new shirts, until I return the one Auba gave my kids in December. They mentioned something about a ritual to lift the curse.....

On 2: I dont think it was ever refused - they were just looking into the financial side of things. IA have satisfied the Premier league that all is above board, and so after a period of due diligence, the greenlight has now been given.

Update.

 

I got an email this morning to say 1 order has been dispatched. Interestingly, I then got an email from the courier who said "we have your kitbag order".

 

I had no idea what kitbag was - but google suggests it is a UK online retailer selling shirts.

So Chelsea megastore, look like they are going elsewhere to source my order!

That could explain why I’ve sent 5 emails to fanatics (megastore) cancelling a shirt, that got ignored, then to get a despatched notification last night for that shirt! What a circus!

I have the same shirt already now ordered from Nike so will have joy now in trying to return this delayed shirt when it arrives. It will probably be another 3 weeks for a refund.

 

Kitbag was bought by Fanatics in 2016, hence why their two websites look very similar !

I bought the two T-shirts up the thread from Fanatics, for much cheaper than the Megastore was offering. One minor issue on the Core T-shirt is that the badge is different (it's a dark blue applied patch, not white printed as per the picture). I'll send that one back as the badge is going to bug me as I think it looks better in white LOL. The 1970 replica shirt is very nice. Wore that for the game last night, so it's got a 100% win record 🙂

I will need more alcohol - or the rest of the season - to either confirm or deny.

I tried to grab another shirt before the sponsor gets added and they ran out in the size ordered AS it was going through checkout. They seem to be pretty much sold out online in most sizes. I bet the actual walk in shop was heaving today.

I think the Infinite Athlete logo looks pretty good on our home shirt, but then 3 did set a very low recent bar to compare against 🙂

Please don't fat shame the goalkeeper.

We didn't have the words 'athlete' on our kit back then.  We didn't have a sponsor at all.

The away kit we used against Wolves looks really nice with the sponsor. Actually think it looks a lot better with than without the sponsor.
