Kerr, Ramirez & Macario together is a scary thought.

Yep. Despite Kerr's success over the last few years she is an even scarier player when she's able to play off someone and doesn't need to do the target duties. Ramirez + Kerr in particularly is a great duo, both are a complete physical mismatch for any fullback, great crossers and also great at finishing in the air.

Her contract ends after next season (2026) and at 32 I would think she will move on. Chelsea are lucky to have her, and I hope she gets back playing soon.

@Scott Like you I think she will move on. With Beevor-Jones and Ramirez performing well and Macario recovering from injury will she get many chances to play? Agree, we have been lucky to have her and it will be great to see her back playing soon. Has scored some great goals for us and the partnership with Guro has been brilliant.

If she does leave it will be interesting to see if she chances her arm in Europe or will she head back to Australia?

She will most likely seek a move back to the NWSL given Mewis' pregnancy, but it is possible they will want to settle in Australia or Europe given the situation over there in the US. At 32 she still has at least another 4-5 years in her.

The problem is her hometown A-League club is skint and couldn't afford her on a regular wage, let alone a marquee one. I don't think she'll be coming home to Australia unfortunately.

Agree, she still has another 4-5 years in her. Has done a great job wherever she has played. Has scored some great goals for her. As for Mewis' pregnancy the club had to take done the announcement about it from the club website and its Facebook and X pages due to some despicable comments. I read a few of them and they were horrible. Very sad in this day and age.

It is but let be honest, it was entirely expected.

"...given the situation over there...?  Lol, eff off.  Go the Wests Tigers!

Oh dear. The account of what happened and the released bodycam footage is not a good look for Sam Kerr, or the club to be honest. Still, Enzo has brushed off his misdemeanours and I am sure Kerr will too.

Imagine if she had said “stupid and black”, racism towards white people is allowed and encouraged, so she’ll be fine.

Her reputation has taken a hit among the wider Australian public.

Many have been left unimpressed by her actions after the bodycam footage was released.

Entitled, arrogant and racist against white people is some of the characterizations to describe her.

A fair amount of alcohol is sports people after midnight is never good. As Paul Vautin once said on the Footy Show, "Nothing good ever happens after midnight".

The devil is strong.

Took a snap poll did you mate?

Once the jury was presented with all the evidence (ie the whole truth) it was unsurprising that the jury voted unanimously for her acquittal:

Lessons to be learned: First, if you go out on a limb with an opinion that is solely based on an edited version of what occurred you will rightfully look a fool when all the facts come to light. Secondly, never trust the media to report all the testimony prior to a verdict. Why? It's in the business of selling controversy - that's how outlets make money. Or do you still think, given all the evidence, that Sam is "racist against white people" ? An apology from you to Sam is warranted.

What were the actual words she said then? I've only seen the bodycam footage!

No apology required. She behaved like an entitled brat when she was pulled up on her behaviour.

Let's not forget she was intoxicated on the night of these events. Hardly a good example of how a role model and professional footballer should behave.

After seeing the initial bodycam footage last week, I was hardly alone in my sentiments. Many people (including here on this forum) were saying the same thing based on the information being provided at the time.
