Let’s not forget how bad a watch it was under EM. While I don’t think the current set up is good (crap SD’s, inexperienced players and manager) I don’t for one minute wish we had that back.

Let's not forget though that the football under Maresca was eye wateringly bad. A crime against entertainment. Whilt this young boy is clearly out of his depth I don't ever want to go back to the tripe under Maresca. But as many have already intimated its all a bit academic under the BlueCo pestilence.

No talk of it here but you never know. Italian football's problems run much, much, much deeper than the coach. Pile limited financial resources on top of irresponsible use of the limited resources for starters. The problems have been long in the making and only a complete overhaul of priorities will address the situation. And I'm not holding my breath.

One thing seems clear some of the players seem to like him more

The revisionist history around Maresca is annoying, it is possible that neither Maresca nor Rosenior are good enough for a team like Chelsea.
