Really liking how we're pressing, the game against Celtic there was so little attempt to press so it completely nullified anything else we tried to do.

Don’t think club América is even up to wrexham level, but this is a much better performance so far. Seems way more direct than Maresca traditionally likes though, but that could just be really low quality opponent making it easy to skip a couple passes building up? 
 

Guiu looks great and KDH is doing his best Mount / Conor impression blasting everything into a defender or over from top of the box. But he looks decent so far.

 

Madueke is not PL level, needs a loan somewhere easier or maybe find a league that plays with larger nets?

Moving the ball far better. Players look sharper.

Madueke has been our best player IMO.

Really happy with what I saw that half barring the finishing. Still have a feeling that defence is shaky but luckily we haven't had to see that too much today.

Much better than the previous 2 games. Lavia looking great on the turn. Reece deeper gives us a great variation with the longer pass, Sterling constantly in space.

Decision making with the final pass/shot has been off but that’s been a problem for years.

Good stuff so far, let’s see if we maintain it as the changes come
