He didn't get 5 games for the challenge. It was because he insulted the referee after the card. He received the 1 game ban for the challenge and 4 games for the insult.

I'm sure I could find better examples. But still, it shouldn't have even been a red card. It's ridiculous that Mbappe only gets a 1 game ban.

Tbh in Italy and Spain, the red cards for 'violent offences' is less strict than over here where you get the standard 3 game ban. Lukaku did a dangerous challenge last season for Roma, which if in the PL was a defo 3 game ban, however he only got 1 game ban. They aren't as strict over there. But yes, that being said Mbappe's challenge is defo worthy of more game ban. He is really lucky he only has 1 game ban.
