Sell - Chukwuemeka (£30m), Disasi (£20m), Nkunku (£50m)

Loan - Chilwell

Buy - Guehi (£50m), J.David (£10-20m)

Not hapy about it but Chukwuemeka is as good as gone, think someone like Brighton or Forest could get a steal for £30m. Disasi i pray an Italian team comes in for him, same with Badiashile but he's injured. Nkunku its probably best for all parties he goes at this point, should be able to get what we paid for him still. 

Chilwell i can't see anyone buying him with those wages, we either pay him off or send him on loan but sitting in the reserves benefits no one and he needs to play for the sake of his career.

Need some leadership at the back, Guehi has a year left in summer. Might be more likely in summer but worth a punt in January. There's no striker out there that genuinely excite me other than maybe Gyokeres and Duran but Villa won't sell Duran now and Gyokeres is probably going to end up at Utd with Amorim. J.David is leaving on a free in summer so might be worth throwing a bit of money to get him now. Technically pretty good and offers more of a strikers instinct in the box than Jackson and can reassess in summer if he's sh*te. 

Don't think much gets done. PSR/FFP keeps things pretty tight for most clubs.

Let's be fair here, he is not choosing to be injured. 

Given we knew Lavia was injury prone, missing all of last season, what did we do? Sign KDH who clearly Maresca did not want, sign Viega who he clearly does not want to use, and loaned out Santos and Lesley, maybe he does not want either of them I don't know.

So we left him with 3 midfielders he did want, one terribly injury prone, and the rest he did not. 

While spending a boat load of cash and bringing in only 2 players he actually does want, and only one of those cost a big fee this past summer.

But this has been the case for every transfer window since these owners came in, and will likely carry on being so. A huge amount of money spent to make us worse.

We just can’t go to the market even if we wanted to unless we sell players for big money in Jan which isn’t happening. New rules kick in in the summer, so every team is cautious of spending. 

Sell everybody and clone Palmer 20 plus times. This way with a squad of Palmers we can hopefully outscore most of the opponents most games. The 'I'm cold' celebration will get boring and repetitve fast and we'll only be able to tell one from another by shirt numbers, but it'll be worth it.

We have so many players who is either not good enough or who Maresca doesn’t like, that for me we need to prioritize sales. 
Disasi, Felix, Nkunku, Chilwell, Chukwuemeka (unfortunately), Casadei, Mudryk (unlikely atm), KDH - get some of these out, recall Santos and see if there is room in the accounts for a CB and/or a ST. 
The great team spirit we had seems to be fading, and I think it is because we have too many players who know their future isn’t with us

Recall: Santos

I would say buy a centre back but with Fofana returning in 4-6 weeks and a really impressive debut by Acheampong, I’d be tempted to stick with what we have for rest of season, Anselmino can take Disasi’s role.

Looks good on paper but the reality is different. There is zero interest in Chilwell for example partly because of his wages, and the club demanding close to £50m for a player who has played on 45mins against the mighty Barrow. Same with Casadei; club wants £20m & a buy back clause, and Torino only offering £12m and a % of future sales. 

Glassner made an interesting comment yesterday about us recalling Chalobah in respect of how many defenders we already have in the squad. Even with the injuries to Badiashille & Fofana, we still have 5 more CBs in the squad and Anselmino has been recalled to bolster the backline. I have a sneaky feeling Maresca started Josh to force the board’s hands, I just can’t see any movement unless they sell Disasi and 1 other CB which won’t happen in the winter market.

I agree, its difficult. 
We HAVE to get rid of some players though, so I hope we focus on that regardless. Buying more players now on top of what we have will lead us right back into 22-23 territory and we all remember how that went 

The January market is when you look desperate and selling clubs get a chance to rinse you, plus the percentage of new signings in January that also hit the ground running is very low overall. Don't think a lot is going to happen, we still have the Conference League as some sort of a side job and that's where the club will probably try to keep some of the players' stock high until the summer, like Disasi, Badiashile, KDH, Nkunku. With Lavia hopefully fully fit with no injuries bugging him until the summer and with Andrey Santos coming back, we could also sell Carney and Casadei and if Chelsea still keeps their ruthlessness in selling their players, this could be a very good summer in terms of money coming in, making a lot of funds available. Most of these players we, as fans, want sold, still have a high stock. This coupled with the club's tough reputation as a negociator, I think we will raise a lot of money once again from selling most of the deadwood in the summer.

Last night reports came out that he refused to undergo a surgery despite the medical team recommendation, and says he’ll be back in 4-6 weeks. I presume without the surgery it probably won’t take long until he’s out again but hey ho.
