It's my birthday, so I can get away with anything: skipping Q and R, but I permit myself this libery only because it's been a long while since I've been blown away by a film: I've recently seen Steal this Movie, about Abbie Hoffman, an American "professional protester" against segregation and most notably the Vietnam war, and his time underground. A MUST SEE, if only to become more interested in that period and pre-Watergate ratf**king. Even if it's almost 40 year on, it made me despair about the so-called free world, knowing about Guantanamo, George Dubya's other cute moves, and other unmentionables.

Jeez, and they say one mellows with age.... how wrong is that!
