Lofty
Hopefully it'll be the same kind of injury that prevents St Stevie playing for England but seemingly has no effect whatsoever on his ability to turn out for L*v*rs-h-i-t-e

barak81
chance for sidwell? Would mikel/essien work with mikel finaly being utilised further forwards and being able to feed the frount me far easier than in his more restricting role that he performs at the moment, alternativly this would be the ideal time for ballak to come back
BlueBeard
Great chance for Joey to play in a central attacking role - at least until Ballack returns

ethicalstrategy
Great chance for Joey to play in a central attacking role - at least until Ballack returns Come on now Bluebeard - you know that it will take at least 5 more serious injuries plus a couple of deaths before Joey gets a starting role! Jack
Did it after training, a few practice shots at Petr. Chelsea TV are saying that hopefully it won't be too serious but I have my doubts. ...and malouda hasn't trained this week.... ...but the good news is Sheva's back! We have Sidwell, Mikel, Essien and Maka to chose from in the middle - doubt any of them can replace Frank adequately (in terms of forward runs and goals) but at least Jose has time for a re-think tactically and we don't have another game for two weeks (f**k England) so hopefully Frank will only miss this one for us. The Moos
They're talking about Lamps being out for a couple of months. Sad news if it's true but it's not the end of the world. It will be interesting to see who can fill his shoes now. Essien, Mikel, Ballack, Sidwell? Wouldn't mind having this starting eleven: Cech Belletti - JT - Riccy/Ben Haim/Alex - Cole Sweepy - Mikel - Essien - Malouda Drogba - Pizza Mikel working more in defence and Essien going forward. I'm full of confidence as well. I laugh at injuries: HA! It's not for nothing we have 3,000 midfielders. HA! So somebody else will be taking our corners ? callista
A COUPLE OF MONTHS! I bloody well hope not, there is no way we can be without his goals for that long. Just over a thigh tear? I'm starting to pray now you've been listening to the wrong news. He's been the one player in form for us and scoring goals and we lose him just when we play a team we never do well against. Feel so sorry for Frank he was in such good form, why him of all people? We will sorely miss him. And not just for his goals for everything he gives to the team unseen.
