Posted November 27, 200717 yr This time for failing to control our players against Derby - can only be the reaction to the Essien red card when JT in particular chucked a bit of a wobbler.
November 27, 200717 yr Don't think we can really argue about this one. Esien's card was ridiculous, but we are asking for trouble the way we surround the ref sometimes. Cashely is particular needs to keep his mouth shut in general. The amount of times he's talked his way into the book is just so so stupid.
November 27, 200717 yr i wonder if arsenal will get done for the way gallas pushed heskey in the face, or the way they surrounded the ref and all charged in....hmmm.. probably not. they wear red.

Not a game goes by where I dont see him shouting at the ref and running his mouth off.

November 28, 200717 yr mate, there is no chance they will ever go against the red clubs, they are seen as too big, and don't want to draw unecessary attention to the FA SCott
November 28, 200717 yr Seems Grant is pretty keen to tell the FA how it is...well kinda, he never brought up them hitting Pizarro, or other teams surrounding the refs http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,11668_2925263,00.html
November 28, 200717 yr Just to think how JM would be fuming right now...He would openly claim how Chelsea is picked by the bigger boys and how it is always Chelsea and no one else. . Good old times.. Grant does the same actually, but in a gentlementlish(probably not a real word) manner.
November 28, 200717 yr How else are the FA gonna pay for thier own incompetence. Just look at what they have wasted from paying off Sven and Mc Claren + what they have lost by En ger lund not qualifying
November 28, 200717 yr It's dead right that we should get done for that, I was disgusted watching it especially JT. Essien was at thought and I'd have been happier seeing the players take their anger and frustrations out on him than the ref - obviously for everyone to make up when the get back in the dressing room.
November 28, 200717 yr Avi's team's 3rd red card in 9 league games, perhaps he's not controling the players
November 28, 200717 yr the most annoying thing is that none of the three warranted a red, and thiers been a hell of a lot worse gone on. i.e. hunts tackle last week, kuyts tackle v everton etc.all 3 were yellows at worst. in fact, mikels wasnt even that. was a fair challenge. drogbas second was never a yellow. it was dangerous simply because he was athletic enough to get to it. and the essien one was a joke. pizzarro got forearmed smashed twice seconds earlier. and essien got kicked on the achilles by miller and pushed back. simple as that. no venom in it at all.

True they were all a bit harsh and 7 times out of ten probobly yellow Card offences, could be the will to win that Avram is installing in the players making them try that bit too hard
