Cannot see that happening, wakes at over 200k we are not in a position to pay those types of wages anymore. If I were City I would feel a tad pissed off that has come out in the media straight after winning the title. No pleasing some people!!

I think it is just a ploy by the agent for them to offer him a new contract with higher wages (even though his wages now are ridiculous). He claims that Yaya has achieved everything he can with City which just isn't true so I can't see him leaving for that reason.

Even if there was truth in this, I don't see how we could afford his wages. This could never happen.

Toure cost 24 MP when City bought him from Barca. I don't even want to think about what he'd cost after the season he just had and he's 29. Wouldn't even consider him.

I think its far more likely Man City (who besides Silva and Toure have a very pedestrian CM corps) and Man Utd (probably now desperate to spend after the disaster of this season) will be the teams offering the most for Modric.

And I dont think for one second Modric's objection to leaving London will enter into it. All his potential suitors make tottenham look like a joke.

People often just gloss over the fact that Toure is very lazy and sometimes just doesn't even try. His age, the amount of wages he's on and more importantly, the fact that he's assaulted Mata on more than a few occasions (This was even before he came to Chelsea, hated him when they were both in Spain too) is just a big turn off.

Great player but absolute prick. Also he was at fault for the Meireles goal against them, couldn't be bothered to track back. A couple of years ago maybe I would have been less adverse to having him, Drogba's presence would have kept him in check I feel.

Also if we want to replace Essien, should look no further than Danilo. Yet another great purchase from Porto. Shares similar traits to Ramires, plays all along the right side, not as quick though (Not many are to be fair) but is more skillful and a better dribbler than Ramires. Pretty much a David Luiz + Ramires combo.

I have to say from a player perspective, there are not too many likeable players on that team. There are the ones that immediate fans would like, but from a different perspective their likeability is not that high.
