Random Rumours
Nah its more about the position than the player. My frustration is they've had time to address a fairly important obvious weakness where we are short but could have acted sooner to fill it. I assume its a position that Alonso wanted filled hence our scrambling around at the last minute with various names as mentioned.

Arsenal vs Chelsea (PL) Sunday 6th September 16:30 GMT
The reality is we will probably lose to leArse on Sunday, they are well ahead of us and at the moment they are simply just a better side. That being said, if we play with confidence and adventure I'll put up with a loss, at least it will be entertaining football as opposed to the negative sh*te of the last few seasons only to lose anyway, and you never know we could have a red letter day. C'mon the Chels

Arsenal vs Chelsea (PL) Sunday 6th September 16:30 GMT
Nothing to lose here. Worst it can happen is that they go on 9 points while we stay on 6 points after Round 3. That means nothing, it's early September only. Before we talk of James and Lavia potentially not being fit at some point, we are in a moment in which reality beats any assumptions. They are fit, ready to go and we have a fully functioning midfield for this match. Hopefully Caicedo is fine as well. A win for us would also take us on 9 points which means nothing so early in the season. But would do wonders for our confidence. Arsenal know they will go for the league title. For us it is still more like paper talk than actual feeling among the players and fans. But a win at the Emirates could be the catalyst of greater things from a mental point of view.

Rangers 2026-2027
Good start for Rangers. One of my cousins is at the game. A downside of watching the game on Sky is having to listen to the drivel from Chris Sutton.

Dastan Satpaev
Been starting wide right of midfield in the few minutes I've seen of him there, believe that they sold Flemming yesterday? If so might get more starts up front or at least off the front man.

Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
One of the most overrated players I've seen at Chelsea throughout the years. f**k this dude. He and his agent publicly flirting with Real Madrid few months ago only for them to release an official statement that they don't want him. He's a loser, he already lost. Manchester City is his B move. Won't have any legacy there whatsoever and will use them again to try to get Real Madrid to sign him. Won't happen.

Real Sociedad Femino v Chelsea Women. Women's Champions League, Wednesday 2 September 2026 18.00
Yep. Now for the draw on Friday. Would be great if the women won the Champions League and then it would be the full set across the men's and women's teams. Now for Aston Villa on Saturday.

Random Rumours
Maybe finding a player who complements Caicedo's game isn't as easy, or as cheap, as it sounds. As good as Caicedo is at the things he does, the things he doesn't do happen to be among the rarest and most expensive qualities in a CM.

And when Wharton is a £100+ dud we can spend the following year searching for the magical Caicedo partner once again.

Missed the first half but saw some of the chances we created. Aggie should have scored but not to worry Keira has. Basil is on fine form.

Biggest Rival(s)
Might sound odd but most my memories of Arsenal are us absolutely turning them over throughout the 00’s & 10’s. They used to play some ‘nice’ football, had that nice new stadium, never really a threat to us in any way shape or form. Now I find them eye wateringly boring and the beginning of the end for the PL but that’s just recent and recent isn’t really a rivalry. Their fans on the other hand, they’re borderline Scousers with their insufferable ness. If they aren’t harking on about ‘ThE iNvInCiBlEs’ (They didn’t win the most, score the most, concede the least, get the most points, they were draw merchants) then they’re being cringe 40 somethings using words like ‘Bruv & Fam’ unironically in head to toe Club Shop gear.

Pedro Neto *Official*
Don’t like the bloke and personally could never trust a man that still kisses his mother on the lips at his age, but he’s posting a lot of positive Chelsea Prop on his socials and seems genuinely happy to have stayed this summer. I’m willing to give him another chance if he stays out of the attack and does his duty as a wing back

Lamine Camara
Well, that's a different version. To be fair the French football pundit on TalkSport did say there were several versions of the situation doing the rounds. I don't think we had made a bid for him before deadline day ?
