Was wondering if Alonso might mix this up to match Arsenal more. Play a back four with the LB and RB being CBs also, and midifeld of Barco, Lavia and James. Depending on what side Arsenal attack, James or Barco drop in to make the back five, but we have numbers in mid also. I know I'm in an absolute minority here but our jade green kit of the 1980's was probably one of my all time favourites as an away kit, 2nd only to our various yellow ones. I really don't like the current trend of black 2nd/3rd choice kits which seem to be so prevalent nowadays.

He's better than Gallagher. There is more control to his game, Gallagher just plays on passion. I do think his performances are getting a bit overhyped though. I would take him, but he's not doing anything so out of this world that makes me think he is this must buy midfielder. We could shop around Europe and find plenty of Alex Scott's.

Really hope the obligation gets triggered for Garnacho. Would be so demoralizing to have him come back next year.

There are some many possibilities in what can happen in this match. The one that seems basically impossible though is us keeping a clean sheet.

im not sold on Scott. Hes making all the headlines and think the hype is a little much. Hes certainly a good player, but he’s more Conor Gallagher to me than a midfield player that can take us to the next level. If we sign him I hope this doesn’t age well, but I think there better options will emerge. Ditch the PL premium, go find a strong player from a competitive league.

Feel a bit for Villa. Not to be disrespectful, but they’ve ended up with Abraham, Maatsen, Barkley, Garnacho and Jackson - hardly players you’d think would take a team to the next level.
