Random Rumours
Teams have had injuries in the past that have left them short. This is how a lot of youngsters have got their chance. It always seems like a good team with a proper system in place can get away with making do when missing a player. The problem I find with us in recent times is we can’t cope with this kind of scenario. Hopefully Alonso can create a system that is more than the sum of its parts.

Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City

- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Damn, fell at the last hurdle ☹️- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
How on earth can we find a genuine replacement for Fernandez? Some one who has no real pace, can’t tackle, is unable to unpick defences, no leadership skills, folds under pressure, way overpriced, no team spirit, racist … It’s a tough act to follow but if anyone can find such a gem we can rely on our intrepid SD’s!- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Keeping him would not have gone well. For all the noise, for all the rumour Cities interest didn’t manifest itself in a bid until transfer deadline day minus 1 . We didn’t buy Barco to sit on the bench picking his nose maybe Henderson will not feature as much as he did at Brentford but he offers far more to the team that Enzo. Enzo was only truly effective in terms of getting close to being a top player when playing in advance of our holding midfielders but I am far from sure that he would fit the set up that it seems Alonso wants with the players now at the managers disposal For me his own true contribution is that his trading had led to a massive plus on the balance sheet. We are well rid- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Far too many just see a player as to how they play but character and impact on others is something that far too often is overlooked. Man City have had their pants pulled down and to be honest with hindsight we had ours pulled down by Benfica. That said his true colours seem to have become evident since he turned up in the PL. It’s clear now why he was suspended by the club and others weren’t . Put quite simply he agitates, is disrespectful and thinks he is bigger than the club. Having had cancer I don’t like the word when it comes to describing a human being but Enzo Fernandez is an absolute shi* and we are well shot of him. He made it clear that he wants to live in Madrid and didn’t like London well shi* lets see how long it is till you disrupt City and want out. I rarely, no never, boo a n ex player who returns but may well break the habit when he trots out at SB- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Enzo was and is a rat. The fans turned on him when his true colours emerged. The fee we paid did not match his ability, not even close. Ramires was a better servant and performer for us than this fool. Don’t underestimate how important it is to rid a dressing room of a character like this. We are well shot of him and got our money back so win win for us.- Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2026/27
Depends ... which one of Palmer and Rogers are you dropping to play him ? Not to mention Estevao gets less game time as well ...- Vintage Blues pictures and film
Bobby Tambling in action against Blackburn. Just like the picture. Bobby Tambling fires a shot narrowly over the bar, to the relief of Barcelona goalkeeper Reina. Not sure who the opposition are, however Bobby Tambling is in their penalty box!- Vintage Blues pictures and film
The late, great, Bobby Tambling scoring one of his FOUR Goals against Arsenal on 14th March 1964. He scored in the 7th, 60th, 62nd and 70th minutes respectively as we won 4-2.Yesterday
- Enzo Fernandez - Now sold to Man City
Enzo played often in the half space off the left. I’d argue Rogers will play in that space this season and get goals. We’ve had the sum of f**k all from our more traditional left wingers recently. Enzo didn’t work in the pivot and left Caicedo exposed. That’s a fairly universal opinion. Where would you play him under Alonso? I believe we are in a better place as a club with him gone regardless of us not getting another midfielder in.- Vintage Blues pictures and film
‘The Cat’ with a one handed catch against Arsenal at The Bridge on 15th April 1961. We won 3-1. Watched by a crowd of 38,233.- Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2026/27

For all that, Ipswich managing to play through ‘Pool’s midfield and, with more quality, could score.- Lamine Camara
The timeline: Monaco needed to raise funds. Chelsea had been talking to them about Camara for weeks and had made offers that were refused. Balogun to Everton reared its head. Deal done with Everton for Balogun including terms. Problems with Balogun’s medical at Everton. Monaco agreed deal with Chelsea for Camara as insurance. Everton decided medical wasn’t a serious problem, the deal could go ahead. Monaco pulled the plug on Camara deal with Chelsea. Balogun decided he had been disrespected by Everton, refused to sign the contract. Monaco left with both Balogun and Camara. Nowt to do with Liverpool. Monaco f**ked up.- Following Our Nearest And Dearest Rivals 2026/27

I honestly don't think Alonso would have given Watson and Nicoll-Jazuli shirt numbers if he didn't think they were ready ... Xabi doesn't strike me as a box ticker to "show" the academy pathway to the first team squad unless it's a genuine addition to the squad ...- BlueCo buy Chelsea FC
I think the rules on spending etc don't ever take into account assets, players or anything else. It's purely what we spend ( transfers, and wages for every member of staff not just players) against income ( player sales commercial etc) I could well be wrong, but spending on a player isn't wiped out because you actually have the player as an asset? Sydney has a very good explanation regarding both our comments .
