Ben Jacob’s said something interesting about the Jackson transfer and that the timing of the Roger’s deal means that a deal for Jackson could be done on deadline day otherwise it would have to be included on both clubs PSR account if it was done before. 45 days is considered a “swap deal”. Deadline day is 46 days. I bet that is what will happen. PSR FC again.

I always liked Mudryk. Though perhaps I think it’ll still thinking back to that Liverpool debut. I did always think that Maresca’s football didn’t suit him and a more Counter attacking style would be better. Alonso seems more open to being direct.

Shaun Dyche was saying that he is a “model pro”. Takes care of himself, trains well, leads by example. Clearly that’s why are signing him.

This is the problem when you hire a load of average ex-Brighton staff. You don’t get elite knowledge or skill, you get average signings. Apparently it’s Tony Bloom with the actual skill and knowledge. The SD’s just follow his model

Not happy with this at all. It’s not as if he’s an elite striker that we’re signing. Hes been relatively average throughout his career. Brighton won’t sell him cheap either.

Alejandro Garnacho is very close to leaving Chelsea, it could even be just a few more hours. Understand that the conditions to become an obligation are much simpler than the Roma ones. (@FabrizioRomano)

Rogers equally comfortable and impressive as a number ten, and his versatility part of the appeal to Chelsea, but told he is joining under the impression he'll play on the left, and alongside Cole Palmer. Along with Xabi Alonso, Behdad Eghbali played a key role in convincing Rogers to join.🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

If he is an Enzo replacement, then Rodgers is streaky. It’s not a bad replacement as Enzo had 14 goals + assists last season. We will need them replacing somehow. Mixed feelings really. I like Enzo but you always want more from him - more athleticism, more defensive work, more goals etc. Maybe if we’re feeling like that then it’s time to move on him and making a profit (something we never thought we would see)

Yeah that’s what I was thinking. You can’t have Palmer, Enzo and Rodgers.

Credit to Trev, he’s done very well for us considering the club treated him pretty appallingly. He should move on as he’s under appreciated here, like a lot of our academy players. He’s rarely let us down and been a good squad player.

Interesting signing. I’m not really keen on us signing Sunderland players who are 34 but his experience and relationship with Xabi will help massively. There was rumours we were starting with a £30m bid which is crazy but I doubt will be around that price.

City fans are under a big shock going from Pep to Maresca and Gusto.

I don’t have a problem with selling Enzo per se. He’s a good player but he goes missing in the smaller games or when we’re struggling. He‘ll turn up for the big games but not for smaller teams. The issue is replacing him. He’s added a decent number of goals to his game and it’s a lot to take that out of the team. Whoever replaces him, HAS to be at least an upgrade.

He had a rough start but credit to him, he turned it around and has been fantastic. We will miss him. Hopefully it is just personal reasons due to his son that he wants to leave. Bit of a cult hero I would say..

Any early predictions for the title next year? Could be an interesting one given the managerial changes. Hard to look past Arsenal as they are the most consistent but I don’t particularly rate them as a great team. The league was very poor this year and they scraped it. City - will have Maresca. Enough said. Villa - Could be a surprise package but not sure they will have the legs. Liverpool - Iraola. Unknown. Us - as above. United - Carrick will be sacked by Christmas. I’m convinced they’ve made a mistake Spurs - could have a decent season. They have looked better under RDZ.

Arteta plays on too many “fine margins” and the low risk approach cost them. Just didn’t do enough and it was there for them to win it. Even we managed to score 2 against PSG and we’re terrible.

Qualifying for any European competition would probably have forced Chelsea to either move out a bunch of players to raise revenue or receive a one-year ban from Europe, while having to sign a new settlement agreement that might end up being even more restrictive -- in addition to more fines. ~ @ESPNUK Blue Co are genius losing that final game.
