LampardsRightFoot reacted to nonotnowjim in Enzo Maresca - Chelsea "Head Coach" *Official NOW SACKED*it is, if the 'jeopardy' question is:
Which young left back defender did the ex spud pochettino insist on playing as an attacking right winger?
I know 7 foods that start with the letter Q. What is a quince?

LampardsRightFoot reacted to Argo in Super Frank LampardThe answer is pretty clear, it gives us the option. Not nessesereiley aimed at you but so many smear the club for buying almost for the sake of buying in 2017 but now they're doing it the opposite way that's wrong aswell, can't win.
For example, at the time the ban was reversed it was looking quite possible Jadon Sancho was going to be available this month. Imagine if we just let the ban carry on, he wanted to come to us but also didn't want to wait so we missed out on him?
Regardless of what happens in the next few days, getting the ban overturned was 100% the correct decision.

LampardsRightFoot reacted to Valerie in Super Frank LampardIt's a January window, clubs are reluctant to let players go, especially when they're any good (which we all prefer to attract ). So relax, players get a good salary with us, which is an incentive for most, and get to play for a club that's consistently winning trophies. The problem lies in identifying the right players that improve us, not convincing them to sign for us, imo.

LampardsRightFoot got a reaction from Nevamind in Maurizio Sarri Officially AppointedMany of our fans did nothing but slag Sarri off. He then does what they want and leaves, and they expect him to show respect?
I think Sarri is the type of person that would show respect to the fans if it was afforded to him in the first place.
If it was me, my first press conference would have been "I got 3rd, won the Europa League and made the League Cup final with an average squad. But the spoilt Chelsea fans didn't think it was enough so I decided to leave."
Don't expect anything positive from a manager that 'we' have abused all season long.

LampardsRightFoot reacted to TrueBlueSeaFC87 in The 25 Man Squad for 2019-2020At this point who cares?
We have a CFC legend as manager with a staff full of CFC legends. We have a squad of young players (several of which are English and homegrown from our academy) that are going to play big minutes this upcoming season.
Haven't we bitched and moaned enough over the last 15 years about this team making big splashes only to see them fail (please don't make me list them out) and counter that by asking that our young players get the chance to shine. We have been given a chance to see what our academy can produce.
United has spent a boat load of money on top talent and managers and look at how they have performed. Liverpool got lucky that Mane, Salah, Van Djik, and Allison all were able to continue their high level of play at a higher level club / different league. They also got lucky that TA-A and Robertson became superstars last season. Spurs...won't win s**t as we have seen, and at some point will cave in and sell Kane, Alli, Son and Erikson (like they ALWAYS do) Arsenal...do we really need to talk about them? -

LampardsRightFoot got a reaction from Shug in Chelsea's next manager - evergreen postIt seems strange that we employ experienced business people or ex-pros to carry out roles at Chelsea. Reading this forum it seems half of the people here could get a deal done far quicker and much more successfully.
As for people moaning about Chelsea being the only team to 'do things wrong' or 'drag their heels' - That's only because you only follow Chelsea. Every team has fans that moan about the way they do things. The big difference at Chelsea is that we actually win things. A lot.
Calm down and wait for it to happen.

This is more complicated that we think, and certainly beyond the comprehension of most Twitter users. Your not negotiating one contract with Frank, you're negotiating several contracts with the staff he wants to bring in.
And I don't think Frank will just say yes to a first offer. He knows Chelsea. He knows he needs to have every club expectation clearly spelled out, and he needs to be clear what those expectations are during the ban as well as after the ban. He knows what happens to Chelsea managers after two years, and I'm sure he's looking to make sure what happened to them does not happen to him. There are a lot of "what ifs" to work through.

Jesus, can you not just thank two managers who won trophies for our team and wish them the best in the future instead of crying over spilled milk and arguing about who hates who more?
I would have preferred José not go to United but he did, such is life. They all won trophies for us and for that, personally, I’ll always be grateful irrelevant of how it ended. Some of you are acting like Sarri/Conte had a sh*te on the centre circle at Stamford bridge and then pissed on your seat. Everyone’s gonna have differing opinions on who they prefer but abusing previous managers who were successful here is a bit cringe. (Except FSW - he’s allowed).

LampardsRightFoot got a reaction from strider6004 in Eden Hazard - Chelsea LegendGreat ending for Eden. Absolutely gutted we can't keep him. But he didn't grow up a Chelsea boy, so he's shown plenty of loyalty towards us as far as I'm concerned. He wants to play for Madrid and it wouldn't be fair for anyone to stop that from happening.
I think we'll truly realise how special he is in the next couple of years because I think he could be exactly what Madrid need.
As for Chelsea, it'll be tough in the short term losing him, but could be helpful in the mid to long term as it means we need to build, grow and nurture other players to hopefully fill his boots, and then some. I've never liked us relying too much on one player, but next year we may not have anyone to rely on at all.
Time to rebuild... We go again.
