  1. Here you go, from a Chelseafc..com report on an under 18’s match: New signing Travis Akomeah seems to have settled well following his move from Watford as he could be seen marshalling the defence alongside his peers.
  2. You’d take how much? If it was down to me, I’d pay them to take the lazy, moany, overweight and overpaid waste of space off our hands. Good thing I’m not running the club, eh.
  3. Infantini? Just another greedy, corrupt c**t. https://news.sky.com/story/fifa-president-gianni-infantino-says-world-cup-every-two-years-could-mean-african-migrants-dont-need-to-die-in-the-sea-12525891
  4. From Alexa: Good morning, and a happy 59th birthday to football manager and self-styled "special one" Jose Mourinho. He's managed some of the biggest football clubs in the world: Real Madrid, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Man Utd. And also Spurs.

The You know how it goes, there is none so blind as they that know what they know, and won’t be told any different, no matter how much evidence there is to the contrary. This was Alexi Lalas, speaking a little over a year ago: “This is Chelsea with all the talent they have and all the money they have spent,” he added. “I’ll say it right now, Christian Pulisic is too good for this Chelsea team. “His talents are being wasted right now at Chelsea, with this Chelsea team that they have.” Yes of course. We should allow Pulisic to go somewhere he’d be appreciated. Like LA Galaxy, or the Kansas City Wizards. Ain’t that right, Alexi.
  6. The phrase “more front than Brighton” springs to mind. Ironic, because if he’d shown a bit of front against Brighton(and all the rest), then he wouldn’t be on the end of such a much merited slagging off.
  7. I would dearly love him to come back, and to be a success. Unlikely? Perhaps, but by no means beyond the realms of possibility.
  8. Better luck next time, eh Romelu.

How nice for you. It must be so comforting to know that your not alone in your complete and utter assininity.
  10. I don’t give a monkey’s what he does for Belgium. All I care about is that he delivers when he plays for Chelsea. And he’s not. Even worse is the apparent - and I say “apparent”, in case there’s something I’ve missed - lack of interest and lack of willingness in doing anything much other than looking elsewhere to put the blame for his own shortcomings. May sound harsh, but I’ve had it up to here and back with massively overpaid, hugely overrated prima f**king donnas consistently failing to deliver the goods.
  11. The thing is, when you get someone as overpriced and overpaid, making so little effort, and showing so little desire to be here as Lukaku apparently is, it’s like poison in the dressing room. And so if he can’t somehow get his act together, and at least make some kind of meaningful effort to justify his price tag, his wages, and even his presence at the club, then the sooner the club get’s shot of this particular poisonous presence, the better.
  12. Romelu Lukaku’s more talented brother:
  13. Never wanted him back. Since his return, he’s done nothing to justify his presence at the club, his wages, or the outlandish fee that was wasted on him. Probably won’t happen, but I’d love to see him gone by the end of the current transfer window.
  14. A sure sign of ageing is when you aim for a particular thread and miss by a mile. ok, I’ll try again. The title should read Geordie Arabia, surely ? (no I won’t get me ghutra)
  15. Thanks for that. There was me thinking that db was referring to our Billy as a daft f**ker. Which he isn’t, obviously, and so I was somewhat slightly ever so bemused at the need to describe him as such.
  16. Poor old ‘arry. Wherever ( and whenever he goes) he’ll always be a thick as two short planks Tottenham reject, who can admittedly score a goal or two.
  17. The title should read Geordie Arabia, surely ? (no I won’t get me ghutra)
  18. Apologies for the delay, I’ve had all sorts going on lately, but still think this tribute from Linfield is worth posting: Sad news of passing of Rangers legend Walter Smith OBE Linfield Football Club wishes to convey our deepest condolences to our friends at Rangers Football Club on the sad passing of their legendary former Manager Walter Smith OBE. Walter was someone who was held in the highest regard at Linfield and we would express our deepest sympathy to his family and to everyone at Rangers FC. Linfield Chairman Roy McGivern stated: "I was devastated to hear the news this morning of the sad passing of former Rangers Manager Walter Smith OBE. He was such a legendary figure at the club and someone who always offered a very warm welcome to myself and other club personnel who visited Ibrox Park. His passing will leave a huge void at Rangers and, on behalf of everyone at Linfield, I would pass on our deepest sympathy to Walter's family and to all our friends at Rangers FC." Linfield manager David Healy added “I’ve just heard the devastating news regarding Walter. I’m absolutely heart broken with the news of his sad passing. I grew up idolising Walter and Rangers Football club from no age. To get the chance to not only play for the famous Glasgow Rangers but to have Walter as my manager is something now I can look back on with great pride. He was an incredible manager and an even better person with the aura of a true champion. Walter gave me my childhood dream and opportunity and I’ll be forever grateful. A sad day for football and Rangers football club”. Linfield Honorary Vice-President and former Vice-chairman Billy Kennedy also expressed his deep sadness at the passing of former Rangers manager Walter Smith OBE. ”Walter was not only a football icon, but an absolute gentleman and a man of the highest integrity. I had the pleasure of meeting and chatting with him on my frequent visits to Ibrox Park for Rangers games over recent years where he was always accompanied by his loving wife Ethel. Walter was always the same - warm, self-effacing and with an expert knowledge of football. When Walter spoke on football, you listened. When Rangers completed the 'Nine-In-a-Row' League triumph under Walter in the 1990s, I was sent to Glasgow by the News Letter to interview him in his office at Ibrox. It was a privilege of a newspaper assignment for me, as a Rangers fan, and I found Walter on that occasion straight forward, plain-speaking, with a love and an absolute passion for the great club he was managing. My sincere condolences are extended to Walter's grieving family - wife Ethel and sons Steven and Neil, who I also got to know in his role with Rangers Media.” Audaces Fortuna Juvat
