Gary Cahill should be dropped
The credibility of the OP went out the window when he asked whether GC even played a role in any of the trophies previously mentioned. Furthermore, it seems a few people and the whole of Twitter think to win anything we need to have the three finest ball playing, man marking, goals scoring, aerially strong, tactically savvy and pacey centre backs the world has ever seen. Honestly. GC ain't going anywhere. I've seen better defenders, I've seen worse. However we are more than capabale of winning anything with him in the team.

Alvaro Morata
Hadn't noticed him falling like that in his other games. I remember his first appearance he got knocked a bit but just got on with it. Hes been excellent for the majority of the season, great to have him on board.

Cesc Fabregas
When he retires, do you think he will associate more with Arsenal or Chelsea? I personally think Chelsea.. he's blue now and he'll be just as determined as the fans for his form to turn around.

Antonio Conte - Now Officially Manager
You know what would probably cheer him up during the little poor run we are on. Suit shopping! Man deserves a new suit, sometimes you gotta give yourself a gift, lift your spirits.

Your thoughts on the fickleness of football fans/media?
The hypocrisy is out of control sometimes but you'll go grey fairly quickly if you worry about it.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
I think we also developed players into big characters and perhaps players they wouldn't have been had they gone to another club though. That's just my opinion because we will never know really. I'm also by no means having a dig at city for spending on those players as you rightly point out we've done it before and every club tries to improve their playing list to some degree or another. My thought's generally are that that is a proven way to success, not 100% of the time, but it has been done, however also there are other ways to success. So the general thought about us not having any vision, or not wanting to spend big on certain players shouldn't actually rule us out from competing. I also like following my club, my team and my favorite players and I enjoy the fact I get to see 3+ years out of them without calling for an upgrade and seeing that group of players win.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
That's what they are doing at the moment. I hardly think they are known for it or have been known for it for any large parts of their existence. I'm not trying to turn this into an identity conversation, as I think every team from the bottom leagues to the top have their own and that may change and evolve but that there is nothing wrong with that. Certainly nothing wrong with ours. The match day football plays a big part but it's not the only part either.

Chelsea Vs Roma (CL) Wed 18 Oct 2017 KO 19:45 GMT
We're not playing our best, that is for sure. However we didn't just get wacked 3-0 at home. Team has to dig in here, we have injuries which is apart of the game and other teams don't at the moment.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
They don't look like the club that I grew up knowing. They don't really have an identity. They just look like a team compiled on FIFA.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
There may not have been youth players in the first team through the years of success however I think the overall success of the club has had a profound effect on the youth and vice versa, our senior players get pushed hard by our own products coming through and I think (all from chelsea TV) there is a great connection between the youth and senior players WITHOUT having them necessarily in the first team. We are a winning club. We might not look as pretty as the girl next door, we might not spend as much on shiny things like the popular girl, we might not even have youth on our side like the up and coming girl, but we win.

Eden Hazard - Chelsea Legend
Can't really fault the club's ambition. We've sort trophies almost every other year and delivered as much. We're a team and although I'm not saying having a Sanchez or another player of the same ilk as Hazard wouldn't be awesome, I don't think that means automatic success. Man City don't even look like Man City and it's not even a given that they will win. Anything.

Michy Batshuayi to Chelsea
Always cop a feel from your brother when coming on/going off. Come on Michy

Charly Musonda jr.
What does anyone do to ever warrant a start though? I think the pure fact that he is ours, young, committed and extremely talented is absolutely enough to give game time to. That's why you get young players.

Your unpopular opinion about Chelsea
Agreed! I don't buy any of the FA conspiracies either.

We officially have an incompetent board
In my opinion we have the best board and best owner in the league by some distance.

This about sums it up nicely.

Rate our center backs 1-5
Wow a lot of people putting Christensen rather high. Don't get me wrong, great player and probably our best against Qarabag, but I don't think hes achieved or performed to the level of the other guys yet. I've factored in Cahill's leadership qualities and grit in the below, otherwise could consider swapping him and Rudi. Luiz Dave Cahill Rudiger Christensen

Alexis Sanchez
I love it how when Pep arrived, he told Sterling that he was a huge part his plans (presumably to side the true Brit fans) but is now the makeweight to get a far superior player.

Willian
Always find it funny when people are like "oh 100M and its a yes from me". Like A) That person will personally get a share of that money or B) They know exactly where the club will spend that money It's not a given that making a surplus in the transfer markets means it gets spent in that window or in future windows. I see it all the time, people adding up the sales of recent players and then asking where X amount of money is? Anyway, back on topic, I agree with the poster earlier who said he is one of those players you won't know you had until he's gone.

Your unpopular opinion about Chelsea
I'm absolutely fine with having sold KDB, Lukaku, Mata, Matic. Only one I regret is Robben

Tiémoué Bakayoko
As cool as that story is, it's just not possible that a coach would be taken a back by a player offering to do what their profession is. Why would Conte risk a a £35M investment if he were injured or unfit.. it just goes against the grains of modern sports science.
