We have more than enough to beat Utd this weekend, if we choose the correct back line, which needs to be James, Fofana, Colwill & Cucurella.
The rest pick themselves on current form, so Lavia & Caicedo in the middle, with Neto, Palmer & Madueke playing behind Jackson.
Madueke does need to step up more than he has been though, he's been a little too selfish lately.

If Pochettino’s conditions mentioned by The Athletic are real, I really doubt this gets done.

    we got super Pochettino
    go f**k yourself Infantino
    he hates Barcelona
he ran with the bulls in Pamplona
he used to work for the Spurs
now he can finally have some trophies reimbursed
he is as happy as can be
no longer having to work with that bald c**t Levy

    it's a first draft

I guess you don’t know what you have until it’s gone. I use to see so much moaning about our old board on here but as bad as they were they are miles better than these arrogant fools.
Coming in and thinking you know about football and completely f**king up the club for at least 2 years.
They have set us back so far.
What I would do for some Marina procrastination until the last few days of the transfer window, it was frustrating as hell but compare to the current clowns 🤡 in charge it’s night and day.

It’s not about the current results only. It is also about the bigger picture. For example, I am very annoyed by the fact that there’re players who won’t be here next season and still get plenty of minutes. Why? Also, the owners themselves admit that there is “a sh*tshow” and everything is chaotic.

There are talks about FFP related issues, then there is the stadium saga. Then there is the fact that we do not know who the next permanent manager will be. This is what’s bothering fans, the lack of hope for a better and calmer future.

I love your optimism....hit them on the counter...f**k we can't hit a aircraft hanger door let alone a barn door; what are we going to hit them with? A rocket launcher. There is no structure to this team right now, the players have been pulled pillar to post and are in a daze and are rudderless, its a bloody disaster to say the least.  If we get past Real Madrid I would be shocked as would the rest of the world.

And ... Real Madrid have warmed up for the CL quarter-final with a home DEFEAT tonight 3-2 against Villareal. 2 goals for Villareal from a guy who has "Chukwue" as the first 7 letters of his surname. It's a sign !!! 🙂

Previous years have seen interims (Avram, RDM) fall back on the players, and let them carry us through the tournament.  This year we dont have the fighters in the squad to do this. Therefore leaving us needing tactical genius to deliver a result.
    Unfortunately, I cant see it.
Never have I been so pessimistic going into a UCL knockout game.

I believe Potter's biggest issue is his lack of charisma. It is not just the fact that we have been used to managers being sacked, but everytime that happened, the new manager was always someone who had something interesting or "special" about him. Jose was Jose, Frank was Frank. Antonio Conte was this energetic crazy guy, Sarri was this avid smoker who everyone expected to come and make Chelsea play like prime Barcelona, while Tuchel always knew how to say the right things during his speeches.
Now we have Potter, this regular guy who talks like a therapist and who is MAYBE a bit too calm compared to what we were used to. He never seems to be bothered about the mess that we are in and it is hard for some of the fans to trust what he is doing, as we cannot see any passion or anger coming out of him. Not even during the games. So yeah, I can see why there are so many people who are asking for his head already. Yet, I do not think that is fair.
We need to understand that there is a new culture that this club is trying to develop. We need to understand that it takes time. We need to remember that only a few months ago there were talks about us going into administration! People are complaining about Boehly and Co. not having a clearer vision, but it is difficult to have things put into place considering the nature of the takeover. Also, we need to remember that these guys have not inherited the culture at Manchester City or Bayern. We, as a club, were in a big mess recruitment-wise and wage-wise.
Like it or not, it takes time. We will keep on suffering for a while and we need to accept that. But it will not last forever. Better times are coming. I personally trust Potter and I cannot wait to see what players we sign in the January window. I am not sure if we will make top 4 this season, but again, when the sanctions were imposed I wasn't 100% sure that we will make it TO this season. I am also sure that he is inteligent enough to adapt to his new job and to get better at communicating with the fans. Or maybe we will get better at understanding that sometimes jazz sounds better than heavy metal.
