So it's up to other players to perform but not him? Didn't you just say no midfielders are performing in your last post? Which is it? It's either one or the other, either he's playing well or he isn't.

Rudiger gave their striker all the space in the world to shoot there, awful defender, please stop playing him.

Who else is getting the minutes he does? Kovacic at least gets rotated. Kante you can understand why he starts every game since we have no other options in the middle. But Mount never gets shifted even when he's in passenger mode.

Unpopular opinion, but I don't think Mount does enough to warrant the game time he gets.

Pulisic last season has shown far better abillity than CHO ever has, so that's probably why. But that's not to say CHO doesn't have a lot of potential, I do think he's unfairly sidelined.

f**k sake, I wish he would try something different from Mount or Kovacic for a change. Mount especially, he's playing far too many games.

Super Frank Lampard
Results always come first. I'm actually disappointed with our lack of being able to grind out results from poor performances. We've only seen it against Brighton and West Ham this season, every other time we play badly we flap and bend over backwards for teams. I suppose that's to be expected when you bring in youth and a lot of new players into the ranks.

Chelsea - General News & Info
Emenalo getting a lot of respect from Law, maybe he wasn't the deserved scapegoat many assumed he was. I never really commented on Emenalo because I really had no idea what he did or didn't do, I just know he had a lot of say in youth development, and I don't think he did a bad job there at all.

It's weird, because his Madrid side wasn't like that at all, they broke records for most goals scored ever in La Liga. Not sure if football has adapted more or he's got more defensive over the years. I don't rate this Spurs side though, I can't see them winning anything and how long are the likes of Son and Kane going to stay there really? They both know they can do better.

Kai Havertz
Tbf not entirely accurate, Ziyech is 27, already an established player and has a lot of experience in the Champions League and against top tier sides there. Although I do agree, Werner and Havertz have massively let the side down, the two Germans have to step up.

Tiémoué Bakayoko
Agree, he looked awful in the Champions League games for Monaco. Fabinho was the one for me who I liked the look of. That whole transfer window was an absolute disgrace though, we did nothing but sign complete sh*t.

Super Frank Lampard
I highly rate Pulisic, but coming to think of it Ziyech might be the one who we missed very badly. It's what he does in the middle of the pitch and pocket areas that are so important. It's a shame he won't have James to play with there often, those two were very dangerous and complimented one another very well. I don't think it could hurt giving Gilmour a run also.

Hello from Estonia
I know this guy, been friends with him since 2010, we've spoken quite regularly on Skype and I've been telling him to try this forum. Good to see that he's joined, I think you'll like him.

Reece James
Not to sh*t on Dave, but the prospect of playing the rest of this season out with just Azpilicueta there terrifies me. He's nowhere near the same player for me.

Super Frank Lampard
Pressing a lot doesn't make you excellent defensively, I've seen many times this season where Mount's man marking and defending has been piss poor. You bring up helping Alonso, he completely failed in helping Alonso with Lamptey.

Omg, we actually took a shot instead of sideways passing! And what do you know!

Super Frank Lampard
Pundits are now getting on Lampards back, I find it a bit ironic how Keane is getting in on the action after constantly defending Ole and making every excuse for him.

And we can't rely on Kante for creativity...

Or it could be that we are f**king awful at the moment? If you can use Liverpool as an example to give Frank the benefit of the doubt, then surely you can use this game as an example.

Edouard Mendy to Chelsea!
I have 0 love for Courtois but I don't think he was just to blame, the club left it in that pitiful position and we had no choice but to panic buy. It was highly rumoured Courtois was never going to sign a new contract and wanted to leave a year before we sold him, nobody else really cared either, he was a very overrated keeper. It's just a shame we downgraded massively, but I like Mendy, I think people are being too critical.

Mateo Kovačić
I don't see the issue, Willian won it in that horrible Mourinho 3rd season. He was our most consistent performer of last season, he did the midfield duties very well and for me he deserved it. Mount had a lot of dry moments last season and I felt he was getting overplayed at times. Willian off and on, Pulisic absent for too much of it, Giroud and Tammy only had certain periods but I would say Kova was the most consistent out of any of our players last season.

Edouard Mendy to Chelsea!
It could be the case, but I wouldn't write Mendy off so quick. I think it's obvious that we can't use Kepa for a metric for how good Mendy is, otherwise, we've set out standards incredibly low haven't we. I don't think we had the resources to go out and get Oblak at the time so we just got Mendy for the cheaper option. I think if we had Kepa in goal, we would likely be a couple of points from the relegation area, he's just that much of a liability.

Mateo Kovačić
It takes some severe mental gymnatics to want Jorginho to stay but Kovacic gone. Kovacic who is younger, still a good squad player, experienced and actually covers ground. Isn't Jorginho 30 now? Pretty sure if both of them were up for sale, it's Kovacic who will attract the better offers.
