Chelsea vs Middlesbrough
Good result but a sh*t performance. Simple as that.

Ferdinand named captain
Laughable. I reckon JT might not start tomorrow if Woodgate is fit.

Man of the match versus Arsenal - 2-1!
Riccy all the way.

Players with a brilliant future behind them
What about old Stan "the man" Collymore, he could've been soooo good but just didn't have his head screwed on right.

Chelsea in the Cross Bar Challenge on Soccer AM
That is was, he looked like he'd never kicked a ball before in his life. Still, fair play to him for joining in.

Chelsea in the Cross Bar Challenge on Soccer AM
Nobody hit the bar, but everyone got the ball in the air and nearly on target including Lamps , which makes me beg the question, why do we struggle so often to beat the first man when taking corners and freekicks?

Hear that click?
- Inter V Liverpool
The sending off killed the game as a contest, not that it was much of one before then. It appears to me that Italian teams can't handle playing English teams. I've not watched Italian football in ages but the way AC and Inter performed in Europe they don't look up to much, I hope we get Roma in the next round and prove my theory's correct.- Firefox users ?

Absolute sh*te. Plain and simple.- match thread - FA Cup away to Barnsley (8/3/08)
I reckon Bridge as well. So far so rubbish. Is it the curse of the BBC? They hardly ever show a good game.- MOTM vs Olympiakos
Ballack gets my vote after another Rolls Royce performance. Plus he won me £60, I had him as first goalscorer and 3-0 at odds of 30/1.- TV to decide Lamps appeal fate
My mistake, you are quite correct. Actually you aren't quite correct. Just checked the fixtures on the official site, the next games in March (league and FA Cup) are as follows: Barnsley (Away), Derby (Home), Sunderland (Away), Spurs (Away), Arsenal (Home) and then Boro (Home).- TV to decide Lamps appeal fate
My mistake, you are quite correct.- BIG FAT FRANK???? REALLY??
This was in the Sunday Times yesterday, the first three paragraphs are particularly vitriolic, it's this kind of journalism that perpetuates the general consensus of hatred toward Lamps by none Chelsea fans: Rod Liddle (Milwall fan) http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/sport/ ... 466787.ece- TV to decide Lamps appeal fate
Thing is despite it being an obvious mistake, I wouldn't be surprised if the red isn't rescinded just because of the balls up the FA made with the Aliadiere sending off. The FA will want to look like they're not favoring the big clubs especially after what Gibson said in the week. Also, if we do appeal and lose and they stick an extra game ban on for a "frivolous appeal" Lamps would miss the game against the Arse! As it stands with the 3 game ban he'll only miss Barnsley (away), Derby (home) and Sunderland (away), I'm pretty sure we'd be able to cope without him for those 3 and then he'll be nice and fresh (fingers crossed) for the big one against the Arse.- West Ham vs. Chelsea
You plonker!! 1-1 What were you thinking. Great result for us today. And Newcastle lost as well which makes me even more happy.- West Ham vs. Chelsea
A push on Boa Morte, Jeff Stelling said it was pathetic to send him off.- Carling Cup Final
I had such high hopes for today and they've been dashed by a performance of such ineptitude. I'm absolutely gutted.- MOTM in League Cup FInal
Bridge gets my vote.- Messi V Kaka V C.Ronaldo
Messi, because he's not Ronaldo.- Grim news about Gascoigne
Sad news but this bit stood out for me "with unconfirmed reports of erratic behaviour involving compulsive computer gaming" I bet he was playing Pro Evo 2008, that game sends me mental sometimes.- Avram in sick racist death threat
They're reporting the package contained "white powder", I reckon it's our old friend Mutu what done it.- MOTM Away vs Olympiacos
A truly woeful game, not helped by the fact that Liverpool won. Maka get's my vote, the best of a bad bunch I'm afraid. - Inter V Liverpool
