It's not being pessimistic, it's just giving an opinion. I don't think anyone here wishes him the worst. Everyone who watches football likes to think of themselves at being a bit of an expert in judging the quality of players and people have their different favourite types. For me I'm not a fan of Sturridge, mainly because of his decision making and sometimes, to me, looks like a bit of a headless chicken. Now if he proves me wrong and is a Chelsea superstar in the future; great, time will tell. There are plenty of people out there, better qualified than me, getting paid loads of money judging the quality of footballers and they are getting it wrong all the time.

Oh they will most certainly win.
