not a LEGEND but very decent player is Nico
Good player and has done reasonably well for us over the years although I never really warmed to him. Think it's just his demenour that he does not wear his heart on his sleave and maybe gives the impression of lacking passion. Have to admit his slowing down of our attacks really winds the sh*t out of me. Wishing him all the best wherever he ends up.

The manager needs to start talking ..
Probably going to get shot down here but as far as Gary Neville goes I think he is probably one of the better pundits on TV at the moment. Obviously his heart lies with Man U but generally he is quiet fair about his comments and it's good to get someone to rival all the scum pundits that do the rounds. Good to see AVB having a pop in our defence though.

Player Ratings v Newcastle
Wouldn't call the rest of his game mostly excellent but maybe OK. His attempt to close down Ameobi's shot that hit the bar was a joke and lacked guts. The man can't defend and I agree with Just in that his furture may be further up the field.

Anelka and Alex
on't think that we will miss Anelka but I really hope we have another central defender lined up as Luiz is simply not a defender and I put Alex ahead of him any day. Just watch some of Luiz defending from today when he should have got a red because he swithched off and did'nt react to Ba's movement. His attempt to close down Ameobi shot that hit the bar was naive and a bit cowardly to say the least, One thing about Alex was that he was committed and I'll be sorry to see him go.

Unlucky fixtures
And there I think is our problem at the moment. I don't see us at team at the present time capable of knuckling down and doing a job. We always appear very flimsy at the back when put under pressure.

Chelsea v Wolves (PL) 26/11/11 KO 15:00 GMT
Alright performance today against a poor wolves outfit. Well played Mata, ramires, and Sturidge. One incident today that I noticed was Mata's cross for second goal. Mata was clearly fouled but his determination saw him get a perfect cross for an easy goal. An almost identical situation happened last week against the scum on the stoke of half time. Malouda had skinned Johnston again and got the slightest touch. Instead of showing passion and fighting to put in the early cross he took the easy way out and took the free kick allowing them to reorganize. I really couldn't care if I never saw Malouda in s Chelsea shirt again. More players like Mata please.

Kaká
Was a fantasic player and maybe still is, but only for another couple of years. Too big a risk to bring here and maybe allow a year to settle in the Prem and then expect to get decent value out of him. Even a price tag of 10-15 is too much of a chance and not worth holding the younger players back for.

Your interview with Roman
If available, would you pay £150M for Messi, or what would your limit be.

Chelsea v Liverpool (PL) 20/11/11 KO 16:00 GMT
Defense looks good, just hope Luiz keeps on his feet with the likes of Surez coming at him. Surprised he went Drogba instead of Torres but I can see were he is coming from. Drogba has been awful so far this season but today would be a good day to turn it round.

Surprised at Gary Neville as well, seems very fair in his comments and knowledgeable.

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
Glad to say that I have been predicting Arsenals downfall for many years now and it's all down to that arrogant fool Wenger. He had built a very decent team in the early 2000's and picked up players at decent money and got the best from them. Some of this was down to good judgement but alot down to luck IMO. They came in, gelled and where successful and Wenger started to believe all that was being written about him and he was god in the world of football management. Being so arrogant Wenger thought he could do it again and over a short period of time cashed in of the likes of Henry, Cole, Pires, Ljungberg with Bergkamp and Lehmann retireing. Admittedly he made some decent profits which made the press go into a frenzy and they awaited the second coming. Wenger's ego believed he was 'Untouchable' and decided to replace world class and proven players with a bunch of kids poached from other academies mixed in with some second class signings. Glad to see it has all went so horribily wrong for him and because he has whinged so much about other teams financial management (particulary Chelsea) he has dug himself a massive hole from which he will be unable to escape. Just hope that the board and fans loyalty holds out for many many years.
