There are many things I like about Carroll. He's always willing to put in a shift and I can't say I've ever saw him hide no matter How bad it has been going for him, and he has certainly has had some bad times since joining the fool. He did start to improve As the season progressed and hurt us when he come on in the cup final. I'd be happy enough if he left fool for the bar codes simply Because I think he'd make the scum weaker and I'm all on for that.

What I meant was that some of the defending against him was poor, a lot of diving in. Would like to see him against Ash. Maybe he is good enough but hard to say on YouTube clips. Still think it,s a big gamble, but you pays your money and you take a chance. Or at least Roman does.

Only watched a couple of minutes of the clip and then got bored. Great skills but not great defending and not a whole lot of end product. Looks like a strong lad for 19 though and his decision making should improve. Big gamble I think at over 30M.

Cole for me. His last couple on months have been brilliant. The whole team were excellent but I must also mention Drogba, Cech and Cahill who could have been my MOTM.

Much rather 'arry stays were he is at Spuds, long may he reign. Same with KK and Wenger, my biggest worry would be any of the 3 clubs getting someone good in. Think Hodgson will do alright. No one (except the delusional press) expect too much.

Bertrand, Cahill and Terry were all excellent today. My vote goes to JT who looks back to his best. Could be the partnership with Cahill that is bringing the best out of him.

Agree, saw nothing wrong with the interview and he certainly did not bad mouth us. However in recent interviews Lampard, I believe when asks about our forthcoming match with Barca, mentioned about them being the best team in the world, basically saying that they are better than us. Sometimes it's just better being a realist in interviews.

This kind of incident is happening more and more as each season goes by and is sickening to watch. Forwards are now actively seeking penalties rather than continuing to try and score or set up chances. Young IMO definitely threw his leg out to make the contact and is nothing short of cheating. Even yesterday when Adebayor was taken down and Bale went on to score, years ago the forward would have tried to jump the keeper, (a natural reaction) but now it more beneficial to get the pen and the keeper sent off. Until the FA decide to deal with the problem and punish players retrospectively there is nothing that can be done about it as you cannot expect the refs to catch these cheats as they have become so good at it.

Great games from JT and Drogs today but my vote goes to Mata for that second half performance.

Probably did not see enough of the game to make a totally fair assessment, but have gone with Ivan for the goals.
