Chelsea v Stoke City (PL) 10/03/12 KO 15:00 GMT
Dissagree, thought you had a cracker against brum Bluehatter.

If there were/was no CFC
I don't mind Man U, think they're a solid club who play good football and have every right to call themselves a big club. I find their supporters to be generally fair, (of course there our some ballbags) and I can have a debate on football matters which does not sink to 'istory (liverscum) and 'look at the money you've spent' (Arsenal).

Player Ratings v Birmingham (FA)
Agree with these marks, only maybe have switched Cahill and Luiz.

MOTM vs Birmingham (FA Cup Replay)
Many contenders for a change but I went Cahill. He looks assured and solid at the back. I wonder what RDM will do when Terry becomes available to start, I think it difficult to drop either Cahill or Luiz from the line up.

Birmingham v Chelsea (FA Cup) 06/03/12 KO 19:45 GMT
Must admit I like Cahill as a defender. Fast, good timer of a tackle and has a no nonsense attitude.

Meriles just stood and watched as their player run on goal

everything that Torres does defensively he does well but attacking wise it all goes to sh*t.

AVB Sacked!
Not that surprised. In truth I saw absolutely nothing that AVB was bringing to the team. If there had been even a spark of hope I would have been behind him but I think he my have been out of his depth. Sort of mixed feelings about the sacking but one thing I feel certain about is that this will actually give our season a boost, but maybe too late fore 4th.

MOTM vs Bolton
He probably won't get many votes but I'm picking Essien. I thought he had a very decent game and a steadying influence on our midfield. His passing also injected a bit of urgently going forward.

That will do.

Chelsea v Bolton (PL) 25/02/12 KO 15:00 GMT
Thought Essien was excellent today. Not back to his best but not far off and he could be a big bonus for us in the run in.

Chelsea v Bolton (PL) 25/02/12 KO 15:00 GMT
A win today is a must but not only that it is the manner in which we do it. A struggleing 1-0 will keep the pressure on AVB and the team. I want to see a comfortable 3-0 in a game in which we domninate and people will comment that Chelsea where well worth the 3 points and it could have been 5 or 6. Anything less and I can see AVB going out the door.

January business? Who's in who's out?
IMO this would only help City out of their problem and load it unto our own shoulders. Good player, and would have a good impact for the rest of the season but after that it would be the same old, same old from him.

Get well soon. Your scoring record speaks for itself. A Chelsea great.

John Obi Mikel - One of our worst signings ever?
A long way off being our worst signing. Fair player with good control and a good squad player. Gett the feeling he could have been so much better and maybe it's down to the coaching and the position he has been asked to play for Chelsea.

Hansen's comments ..
Hanson was a very good reader of the game, probably his biggest assest, however in todays game he would be getting booked every match and sent off many times each season. Not because he was a dirty player but he was the most cynical bar steward ever to play football. Always going for those little blocks off the ball stopping players runs and obstructions when players were going to get away from him. He was a master at it but today those get yellows.

MOTM vs SUnderland
I'm going for Torres as well, 1 assist and taken down for two pens, plus he worked hard defensively and looks sharp. Thought Luiz had a steady enough game until his awful positioning near the end to let Benther through on goal.
- Lucas Moura

Michael Essien
Poor reserves have to play on really sh*t surfaces, don't they ...............

Sunderland v Chelsea (PL) 14/01/12 KO 15:00 GMT
O'Neil has had a good run since he has taken over and I think he would be very happy with a point from this game so I'd imagine that he will set up very defensively. We have not been very good at breaking down the barn door so far this season and I have seen nothing this past few weeks to believe we will do it on Saturday, but here's hoping. Cech Bos, Cahill, Terry, Cole Romeu Rambo, Meireles Sturridge, Mata Torres

Gary Cahill *UPDATED* *Now Signed*
I think you have to consider here the age difference dkw. Jones 19, Luiz 24. Jones very very young for CB whereas Luiz should really be finding his feet in that role.

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
Looking at Coloccini tonight gives me great hope for Luiz in the future. Colocini was all over the place in his first season but he has learnt and was superb no matter what forward Utd put against him..

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
3-0 Jones old goal SAF not happy looking. Can't write them off but their defence is too shaky to win the prem IMO

Suarez
From what I gather there were two linguistic experts consulted in the investigation. So for someone who is not one, his denial of accepting the reports finding is laughable. Dalglish and Liverpool should see an FA charge for their comments, but I doubt it.

MOTM vs Wolves
Can't really disagree with much of that.
