joecollins13
our best moment in the clubs history, the moment that will be shown for decades to come, the moment the players lift the trophy for the first time. it should have been Terry, the captain, like every other team does, lamps, drogba or even cech would have been OK, but instead we got jose bosingwa, the player that half of us wanted to be sold last summer. now all im seeing this morning is pictures of him and his unibrow holding the cup up in the middle of all the players. really odd moment. hes a fringe player at best. whats with this guy and trophys. he hogs them all the time. drogba was telling him to move back to let terry in and the fool wouldnt move. Remodez
Don't really see the problem myself, each player lifted it in the end and JT and Lamps also lifted it again together.

Chippy
I couldn't care less if his Eyebrows joined his hairline and wrapped round under his Chin to form a Goatie, the man was a big part of us winning the CL, faults an all he was there and in three different positions...he deserves his place in the Clubs History and who can blame him for milking it? Its unbelievable that people are finding negatives from Robbies tactics to Joses facial hair. what a night and what a season. Phillip
JT and Lamps lifted the trophy together when the trophy was first handed out by the UEFA person, and so I disagree with you, Joe Collins. Perhaps you saw a pic of Bossy with the trophy at some later time, when the cup was being passed around. You need to rewatch the trophy presentation, and be more kind to someone who was massive for us against Barca and against Bayern. By the way, speaking of unibrows, do you have an eye sty (it looks like it in your avatar)? Edited May 20, 2012 by Phillip

dkw
Yeah, how dare a player who took part in a final that we won get involved in the trophy presentation because he was incredibly excited to have won the European cup. Damn him.
blizeH
f**k off. Bosingwa gave his all last night, he was in tears from the moment the final whistle went, to just before they walked the steps to get the trophy. He was probably our most emotional player after the FA Cup final too, you can really see what it means to him.
No8.
I thought it was only Rangers supporters that could find fault in any situation but this has even out done them. The WHOLE Chelsea team were excellent and especially the defence. A real backs to the wall display that will go down as the greatest night in the clubs history, Imho, and somebody is complaining that a player that played a huge part in this historic night maybe held on to the Cup for a wee bitty too long. OP...When you go to the bar do you only buy 1 for yourself?
Kev123
Sorry gentlemen im going against general opinion here and admitting it really annoyed me too. I am one of the minority who rates Boswinga as a defender, and allowances have to be made for everyone busy being so happy they didn't really think about it, but let me put it this way. I have waited a very very long time praying I would see JT lift the CL trophy. That moment meant alot to me. We all know how much that miss in Moscow has haunted him. Even after that semi red card, nobody deserved to lift that trophy more than him. And I waited a long f**king time to see that moment. And I truly believed it would happen. Then it actually does, and all you can see is his left arm behind boswinga. Do I blame Bossy, no, he was happy, he just won the CL for f**ks sake, everyone was behaving like headless chickens. But did it piss me off at the time, damn right I was. I posted something similar in the match thread at the time it happened, but when it comes down to it, we just won the f**kin CL. I can't stay upset about anything right now. :)

Think you'll find that when the trophy is lifted, everyone parts for frank and JT, so if you wanted that shot so badly just go back and watch it again. superdan
Happy that all the players wanted a go and that Chelsea still has the team spirit that I think makes them different from many clubs.

Yeh I watched it, and also saw some pictures just now where u can see Terry. I guess me and a few others had a sh*t camera angle. Like I said tho, in the grand scale of things, I could not give a flying f**k who lifted that trophy as long as they are wearing royal blue

matamarryme
They all got to hold the cup and enjoy their moment so I see no problem with it. It's not like the FA Cup situation when one player rather spoilt it so I don't think it's an issue really.
HisDogSpot
There's always one to find a negative on the greatest night in this clubs history! I don't care if he slept with the f**king thing we've just won the most prestigious award in football who cares how they celebrated good on them for being excited and happy did you hear Luiz today at the parade his voice was f**ked ! Maybe grow out a bit of a fro to top it off.
DoubleHelix74
Seriously, are people really complaining about the trophy celebration? After all of what the club and supporters have been through, I guess some people will always find a way to complain about something, no matter how trivial it may be. Perhaps they could move onto the Spurs, there they don't win trophies so you can't complain about trophy presentations!
