Leicester at home in the CC round 4
Well the highlights didnt give much away. All i could tell is that carlo got caught in no mans land on more than one occation wich as a keeper is the second worst thing you can ever do!! We seemed to break in numbers moving the ball quickly and expansivly which is good. Sheva's goal was tuley top draw, well done!! It seems that in the prem Joe has one of those wing spots locked down but neither kaulo or malouda have really stamped there mark on the other side, Sinclare any one?? should have had a goal tonight had it not been for a great save. Frank looked great again. Other than that not a lot you can gaige from highlights and ITV's are rather bad as well

Leicester at home in the CC round 4
Well if its going to pens i feel a lot better with carlo in goal, not that i want to see it go to pens, still think we come up the underdog in a shootout no matter the opposition

Make up your minds who was it, and more importantly how are you seeing it?

Our attack....
not just gooners mate, fergi has done it many times, Sparky, Ince, kanchelskis, Stam, Van and becks... probably more... never scared to turn them over no mater who the player. I read some where that this is a lesson he learnt from the demise of liverpool.. his assitant at the time had pointed out that the scousers had allowed all the stars to get old together and any season soon things were going to go pete tong.... 17 years later still paying the price

CFC v Man City
It wasnt his fault that he was sent off against ManU imo. So I dont see a reason to blame him for that. Even if he didn't deserve the red card he still shouldn't have made that tackle. There was a time when football was played by men, who wernt afraid to put there foot in once in a while, men who didnt roll around in agony at the faintest brush past them. A time where challenges would fly in from all angles and players would get up and get on with it. Im not going to berate a player for a poorly time challenge that was made to look far worse by the play acting of another player

CFC v Man City
I dont see the isue with mikel, IMO when he's in the side (to steel a rugby phrase) we seem to get a lot quicker ball which is obvusly harder for the opposition to deffend against... he has some work to do as all young players do but his natrual tallent is imence

Life after Schalke.
I said at the beggining that i believed Grant was here to stay in the job as main man then i went a bit of track with the idea of a pre-assembled hiddink team but now i cant see past the current set up... i think its a structure that must have been talked about before Jose went. the way i imagine it is that tenk has a massive say on the coaching and training methods as this seemes to be his specialty, while grant seems to be more on the man to man thing, dealing with the players based on who they are. Could be well off but who know's

Liverscum vs. Arse
Lets just hope that a cirtain mr mohrinio doesnt come in and finish the job for the fat controler

Sheva gets pace training
Your having a giggle arnt ya? sheva was never a fast player? the guy was lightening in his prime... quick as f*ck and a snap shot from any where in and around the penalty area... he wont regain his speed the way it was but he can still become a force in the prem (i think)

Diego
Im still going for mikel higher up the pitch, thought he looked good when he came on last night

Chelsea v Schalke 04
We took are foot of the gas a little bit in that half... id like to see us really move up the gears in the second half... less crosses from so deep as well, either hit the by line or try to move it centraly i rekon... there fella jones is looking very close to loosing it, alrready on a yellow

Realistic hopes for the season
I agree with you completly (no one seeems to believe me however) i have always maintained that i dont care to much about the CL, be fantastic to win and its great to play in but its the prem that i want year after year... I still think its miky mouse as well and should be taken down to champions only!! This would then give value back to the uefa cup and further value to dommestic cups.. not to mention liverpool will never get to play in the CL

Frustrated yet again..
Just to comment on the when can we be like united and arsenal octaville... how many times have either won at the matselser (spelling) dont know about united but i know gooners have been on the back end of a few hiddings there

Looks like things may finally be settling down
And if we have a horror season would it be fair to say a large chunk of the blame will be laid at Grant's door? So if we do succeed this season who do you think should get all the credit? If we have a horror season then I will be laying the blame at Romans door. He was responsible for getting rid of Jose and for appointing Grant. i don't have anything against Grant, but I am struggling to see what qualifies him to manage chelsea. 6 matches is not enough to draw a lot of conclusions other than the fact that we have a good squad with a lot of good players who are capable of beating anyone if they play the way that they have been coached. Some detect a change in the way we are playing but I can't see it myself. Well he has more domestic titles to his name than any one else throwen in to the list, he kept a 3rd world football nation undefeated in a group that icluded france, ireland (before they where rubish) and switerland who are no push overs... finished level on points with france to boot, his record as a manager is not bad in the sligtest, as gullit has pointed out he is as qualified on paper as ferguson. So what exactly makes him unqualified? no expiernce of the english prem? Nor did jose fergi or wenger when they started? For me he doesnt seem to inspire in the same way Jose does, i dont trust him at the helm as much, some how because Jose was such a bad looser you knew that would follow through to the players and give us an extra 20 percent. However that is my perception of the man, not a fact just a thought, if anythin the facts beg to differ. Like i said im still standing on the "he's not going to cut it side of the line" but i have nothing to back that up with yet so its over to you Avram, proove me wrong or proove me right, i hope its the former

Riquelme's free kicks
For a player like him age inst that much of an issue IMO, like zola he doesnt seem to rely on physical attributes such as speed
-
Riquelme's free kicks
How old is he?? Loan deal in Jan i say!! His stock is down and its this kind of buisness that we should be looking at in Jan, when half the squad go of to the ANC, not to different from united taking larson on loan.. Hmm may have to see if can pop grant an email on this one

Diarra's already moaning
Fair play to the fella, am gutted we didnt keep hold of him but looks like his number one priority is his football and playing it the way he wants to ie in midfiled and regularly... proffesional football is a glorias but short career and there's no dress rehersal, he clearly wants to get it right!
