ManU vs Chelsea
I told you so !! Roman rang me to say he was the future manager. yes you did- and you've now outed yourself as the idiot who actually WANTS him Hey at this point id take him oer grant, was the best bit of the match for me. As a manager grant isnt up to it, reminds me of gross, ot bad in his own contry but hasnt got what it takes for the EPL. Loz didnt you want rikard of off just his international expeirence?

Yom Kippur !
It doesnt fall on a saturday that often and you'd have to look for your self on ben haim, i couldnt answer with any convition. but yom kippur is far more important to a jew than a football match. and before you say if it was the CL final, it never falls at that time of the year, g-d though ahead and made sure all the major finals where kept well away from it

Yom Kippur !
Sorry, but I totally disagree with that. It's not like someone's holding a gun to his head and making him follow his religion. He's got freedom of choice like the rest of us - his choice is to follow his religion, and the fact that he considers that to be more important than his job, it just goes to show he has no respect for the club or the fans. It shows that he has more respect for his religion's most important holiday than he does for a day of training (albeit one of our most important training days of the year). That's not exactly the same thing as having respect for the club or the fans. It definitely says something about his priorities, and you're completely free to dislike what it says, but don't go overboard. I really dont think he is going overboard. Him not turning up for Chelsea is dis-respectful to my religion. If I were selecting a team from a fully-fit and -in form Chelsea squad, I would have Joe Cole on the left wing. That's not because I don't respect Malouda as a player; it's because I respect Cole more. Similarly, Grant won't be skipping Saturday because he doesn't care about the club or the fans. He'll be gone because he cares more about his religion's most holy day. That doesn't mean you can't strongly dislike and disagree with his decision; I'd much prefer to have a manager who was in training on Saturday too. I'm just pointing out that it is perfectly possible for him to have at least some respect for the fans and still choose to miss a day of training. In these circumstances its wrong and disrespectfull to the supporters. On his third day in the job...........hours before a massive game...... he makes him self unavaliable.......GREAT. He was alway's unavailable on this day, its not just a knee jerk decition

How will be next be next Chelsea boss?
Putin is to roman as roman was to jose,, so yeah probably

Can another manager do as well as JM?
Wenger's never been able to put back to back titles together nibs, i think he has 3 in over ten years in the game, jose would have achieved that in half the time im not sure if there is a masive amount in there trophy count any way in england, any one got the details on it? But i agree in general if wenger wernt at gooners and you knew what he was about id have him

Yom Kippur !
What if he had g-d forbid our manager, who ever it was sufferd a berievment in his family and funeral was on the saturday, would you alow sone one the time of then. Course ya would no questions asked because you believe in it, you take it seriously. He takes this very seriously, ok if you catch him at home stuffing his face with pork pies then im all for the witch hunt Yeah but no-one died!!!!!! and managers in England have busy scheduals over Christmas which is also a religeous festival. So if this game was on Saturday he wouldn't be at the ground for his 1st game! Theres dedication and comitment to the club! bluenut, games dont get played on christams day also, christamse is a celebration of the birth of christ, yom kippur is a day of morning there is a massive difference there are several other festivles as well but id hazzard a guess he will work all of them

Yom Kippur !
Im not arguing mate, i think every one me included is still very angry that Jose has been given the boot and trut me im right up there with ya and looking for a reason to pick holes in the new guy, almost like kids playing up for there step dad and again im all for some fault picking and finding reasons to get rid of this fella and have my jose or rude back but this isnt a valid one, its a desprate one. There different for him as well but there significance of it is not all that difference.

I dont even think you completly believe that, just like you are aloud dispies all orginsed religion because it is your right and equaly your right to say so, it is his right to folow what he believes in with out critasisem from others, its hardly extreamisem is it. If i went for a job and they said hmmm, we'd like to give you the job but your jewish so your going to have this that and the other and thats not convient for us id be on the phone to my soliceter looking to sue as quick as you can say bye bye roman. Obvusly he considers his relgion important, its been a part of him his whole life and will continue to be after he gets let go (hopefully in the not to distant future) you cant really compare the two

Yom Kippur !
nope not at all. As ive said else where mate its the most holly day in teh jewish calander, im not orthodox in the slightest, hell most people wouldnt have a clue i was jewish if not for my name, but like many others i set this day day/s aside as somthing i try and adhear to. Jimbo... baaahhhh, cut me some slack, im in the middle of no where, there's not a synagog for 100 miles in any direction as far as im aware. besides im sure DVD's where lost in the transalation some where Bluenut, he will be doing far from f*ck all, its not any easy thing to do in the slightest. Hell i think he's a terrible choice for manager but this isnt his fault.

Who Took over a better Squad: Grant or Jose?
Grant obvusly i mean its obviuse isnt it? Clear as day he has the better squad the Jose took over isnt it I mean he has sheva and ballack to take over, I mean there like the best in the world if not mismanged so that means that he has the better team, surly?

Mikel
I say we go get our bloody money back!!
-
Well its Grant
Pauly religion is year old and IMO dated, im am pretty far from being an ideal jew, there are lots of things that i completly disagree with in the religion but this just happens to be one of the custems i respect and most jewish people would. As for sex before marige. well people used to get married at 12!! Any way converstation for another place surly
-
Well its Grant
This ones not really his fault though is it So if we were playing Manure tomorrow, you'd be OK with the manager having nothing to do with the game because of religion? Well i can only judge it by my self, im fasting and will be doing nothing else so i wouldnt expect him to either, for some people there are some things that come before football I realise that some people put religion before other things, that's their decision. To do this within days of taking charge of one of the world's biggest football teams is f*ckin' ridiculous though - and to make matter worse, being Jewish, Abramovich obviously knew about it and therefore condones it. The current Chelsea situation just gets worse and worse Oh, and please don't anyone accuse me of anti-semetism - I've got equal contempt for all organised religions. Thats fine but as ive pointed out it is the possibly the most holy day's for jew's now if abramavich believes that he is the best man for the job but didnt give him the job based on the fact the there is a fast that would be well pregedist wouldnt it, its against employment law!! Im not saying its ideal but in this situation it is the way it is, unfortnate but nesacery
-
Well its Grant
This ones not really his fault though is it Fair point, but as I've said in another post, what would happen if a Jewish event fell on an actual match day? this is the only major fast, in fairness every saturday is a jewish event and your not really supposed to work but im sure he will. This ones just a major one, well the bigest one really

Yom Kippur !
It is true, but its not rest, from sun down today he has to fast, this includes no eating no drinking of any fluids and no bathing of any kind including brushing teeth till sun down on saturday night, he will probably be spening his time in synagog, i will be spending mine in my room with a large collection of dvd's

The Club are a f**king disgrace!
Not only is kenyon a slimy toad he's actualy not very good at his job, when it comes to the football aspect any way, contracts and sighnings have been a mess since he arrived. HAS NO CLUE!!

Players I Would Love to See In Chelsea Colours
I think before we can even think about any more players we really need to find out who's going to be taking the club forward as manager, it seemes like its Grants to loose now like ive said else where so he's going to need some time with the current crop to decide how he wants to do things.

Jose Statement
Said it in so many other threads today but going to add it to this one... completely gutted!!! As bluenut and a few others have pointed out the best we ever had and ill go one step further and say the best we are ever going to have

Any one else listening to talk sport
That durahm fella needs a smack on the head... what a numpty!!! The Guy is shocking, how can he have a job in football punditry. He speaks utter sh!t.. Jose hasnt won enough He is an unqualified success He has been sacked because the last 3 results have been rubish Not a great manager Should have done better with the millions Its was obviuse that chelsea would not win the title Its not unreasonable for roman to expect a title every year and they CL once in a while Please, this guy is a joke!! I know there is freedom of speach but some one needs to stick a musel on this guy!! I did actually phone to try and argue the fact Jose had been a success and wanted to ask Wirght's oppinion with regards to the effect it would have on his son but once id explained what i wanted to put accross they wouldnt put my call on air. funny how all the chelsea fans put on air so far where happy to see him go
