Would like to see huntelar over here as well but he's a gamble in terms of adapting, anelka IMO is a sure thing, every attribute a world class striker needs and the only thing that ruined it for him on the big stage was him self. Went for Cole my self, think the last two games have seen him step out of a run of bad performances and looked are most creative player most of the match Mikel after some early scares was also very good i think. Just wish he used furhter forwards!!

Didnt think we where going to get there to be honest but great take by cole when i thought he'd messed it up. SWP coming for sidwell who is well out of his deapth even as a back up player IMO changed the game, gave us more ability with joe going central and wich we had started that way to be honest. Well there the one's we have to win, and the difference between being a top 4 team and title chalenging team!

I think we are firmly at a place now where the team almost picks its self which is a good thing IMO. My team would be the same as chipys if all players where availibe then it would be paulo in for beleti. bridge and cole not that much to pick between them (truth is i cant get the horror show from wembely out of my head) essien in for mikel and ricky to start. Obvusly this will change depending on the opposition because belleti does get forward brilliantly and alex is always a nice wepon to have but in essence i think its good to know your best starting line up and think we are there now!

Flopy hair, leftwinger who likes to drift in center, technicaly good with both feet and inventive and a very good striker of the ball (from clips ive seen)..... remmind you of any one.... ?? Incedently im not sure but last time i cheaked the rules i didnt see anything restiricting clubs from having more than one creative player

I actually uite liked the idea of anelka about 4 years ago but was in the minority then. Oppinion hasnt changed, player with fantastic ability and i think will relish the chance to show it one more time on the big stage!!

The problem was in are formation today, yes we played pretty football and yes on another day we could have been 3-0 to the good at half time but the only two people that actually looked like scoring where lamps and drogba. SWP was fantastic ball carying and nipping about but when it came to telling product there was nothing. Joe produced even less, his only telling moment coming when he stepped away from two deffenders and shot horribly wide. With the 4-3-3 you need you wide men on form and being a danger other wise you may as well just have drogs up top with far to much to do. They are responcible for scoring and creating goals in this formation and they didn't threaten enough. Joe has looked below par for a few games now truth be told and SWP just seems to panic a bit at the vital moment. I think we need to pick are moments and if things arent working out go to a 4-4-2 and give drogs some help up top.

Ive seen us play a lot worse than that and go in ahead by a couple many times in the past, we need to keep the tempo up in the second half and hopefully it will break are way, most of the players doing well. That said balleti has been skinned a couple of times!! Drogba is having one of those days infrount of goal by the looks of things, id have sheva on

Thing is loz, he's either good enough to be in and around the first team now or he isnt, if we'r trying to keep the quality of player high then any player worth his salt will be good enough to be getting appearnces now... look back, rooney, giggs, owen, dare i say maccmanaman, some may have rated him, some may not have, add to that ronaldo (19 in his first season??) fabregas and even walcott who after watching them both play a bit i believe sincalre is the better out of the two (in fact a gooner mate of mine thinks sinclare has more about him than wallcot) but walcott is the big news kid. It does seem the case and is my oppinion that players that in that end of the pitch you can kind of get an idea about from a young age, i understand further back the a bit more expiernce may need to come in to it, but sinclare can play out wide in a 4-4-3 or up top in a 4-4-2 and probably out wide in a 4-4-2 as well. I have mixed feelings about malouda and like barn i think swp is a limited player so if scott is the real deal he should be given a chance now, i think he could deffinatly be more of an impact player than what we currently have.

The irony is what we should have done last night is put another striker on and hit som long balls up top, are passing game fell appart so plan be should have been rout one and muscle but people wouldnt have been happy with that either PS we had very simmeler performance both in the CL and the EPL under jose on more than one occation, if it happens consistently than we can moan but not at the moment
