  1. Its agony and yet i cant turn it of, id phone up but id end up f-ing and blinding
  2. Im with bluenut, thing is i dont believe there is a better avialible manager out there that we will get a long term commitment from. And as ive said else where i think we will see arsenal and liverpool finish above us this season. One thing to smile about Jose has left with wenger never having got the better of him...ok scant concelation edit: Moose thats what made him so great
  3. Every one seemes to go on about roman getting his man in charge, seemes to forget that only 3 seasons ago Jose was his man
  4. barak81 replied to BLUENUT's topic in General Chelsea FC
Well this will be the acid test now valerie, if he turns in to the all action striker we all knew and loved at milan and kiev before that then there may be an element of truth in what is deffenders have been saying, however will they be as dignified in being prooven wrong if he fails to live up to billing under another manager? Time will tell, i feel that for some no matter who not matter what it will always be down to the lack of service
  5. Just to add a bit of oil to are own personal bom fire here dont forget that All of Jose's staff will go with him, that probably a decent number of the coaching staff on there way, training is going to be a lonely place
  6. where do you hear that? What, im Half Israilie, you dont think i have access to these things?? Seriously though http://news.bbc.co.uk/sport1/hi/footbal ... 004083.stm there is no mention of care taker or temporary basis. He has been given the job and im not that supprised either. that's because they are trying to cause trouble... Mate he's mates with roman, he has a CV that is farily respectable, its basicaly a case fo there you go buddy, lets see what you can do. Obvusly if he f*cks up he'll hopefully be given the push sooner rather than later but as it stands i think the job is his to loose more than his to try and keep
  7. Out of interest where is kouman these days?

  9. Exactly how I'm feeling mate. I feel like I just split up with Angelina Jolie. She dumped you to mate? Gutted!! We should have a comiseation beer together!!
  10. And its been given to him on a permenant basis. No need to debate the who's and whens its time to accept that this is the man in charge and while he comes with an interesting record in the israelie league the I predict that we are going to free fall under him!! Oh well was nice while it lasted
  11. While Gullit would be a fairy tale re-appointment and i like many would love to see it happen the guys ego is equal to Jose's there is no way roman would have that again
  12. No one can say exactly why he has been sacked but if its for on-fiels stuff im very dissapointed because as ive said else where every team goes through its shocking times and those that stick by there manager espesialy when proven like wenger or ferguson see the rewards. I fear we'r never going to do that now and IMO have got rid of the best manager in the world
  13. What i love about all this is that there does seem to be a massive unreast amoungs the forum and supporters in genneral about the way things are going under Jose, However not once has any one mentioned some one else they would like to see in charge. every one just goes on about what we'r not getting under Jose but who is it in world football that people think is going to do a better job? Me personly i say let him continue, wenger has never been able to deffend a title, Ferguson took 5 years to win a thing and it was only two seasons ago they where dumped out of there group bottom of the group, out of the fa cup to liverpool and not really as close as the mejia would have us believe to us in the league. Many thought they were in iraversable decline but ferguson predictably turned it around. Id like to see chelsea give a manager the same chance to build a legacy with the bad times and the good as opposed to the real maddrid method.
  14. Again, if ballak had put in a performance like cole did last night and was slated i would have said he was played ok, did a job and was by no means awfull, i may have even said IMO he did well. The same goes for sheva and cirtainly robben who i deffended more than most. So if i where to say that how is my rating and critasisem not consisten, i would have expected you to actually provide some unwarented critasisme by now to back up what your saying
  15. I have a feeling if we did meet real Jose will send the team out to kick him out of the game, somthing some prem teams did to him last season
  16. did I say this season? that's not the point, which again you are missing. the point is, you said joe cole played well, and yet you would never have said that if ballack, sheva or robben had put in a similar peformance- you're letting you're bias control any reason/ logical thought. Actually i would have said they played well if they put in that kind of performance, just like i think sheva played very well last night where as otheres think he wasnt that great. last time i cheaked im entitled to view and my view is that cole had a much better game tan loz suggested, it wasnt a poor game, it was an ok game IMO. Loz's argument was that cole didnt provide enough, didnt deliver enough where i have already given two situations that should have been converted, what would have his rating been if both those chances had been put away, higher and more memrobale from some i would think, i would still have maintained he did ok, wasnt a superstar on the night. A Again i dont really bash sheva or ballack all that much, i more point out why i think they had a bad game if they did, as in incedents that occured or didnt in the game. same with robben, if your looking for bias aggenda your on the wron which hunt here i suggest you have a look at http://www.kennsposts.com
  17. nibd didnt say cole played well because of the cross. infact he didnt say he was brilliant at all, just pointed out that he did put a couple of excellent crosses in to the box where and wasnt as bad as loz implied aha- you are correct. apologies nibs, I got you and barak mixed up. sorry about that. I was actually reacting to a quote from you, barak: I wouldn't have given him a 1 (my ratings are always conservative- I've never given a 10, and I've only given a 4 or lower twice in almost 5 years), but to say his general play was good and that he played well is frankly incredible and basically makes a mockery of your criticism of other players for peformances better than joe's tonight. And now your mis-quoting me, a fantastic career in journalisem awaits you. Where in my posts have i critisised other players? maka because to be honest there was no need for him tonight and he did not play well and essien for making the wrong decition and shooting when there was obviuse and better option on. If you re-read all my posts in this thread you'd see im one of the few on here that has actually happy with the way we played last night. Was i happy with the result, NO did i think we played well enough to get more from the game YES! We didnt win because thats football, thankfully it has not become a mechanicle sport where you win just because your ment to or even because you deserve to, some times things just dont go your way as they didnt last night IMO. So when you say Im not sure what you mean, i think you have just read the genneral conceces of the thread and tard me with that brush. If your talking more genericly as in my critasisem of players this season, have a look through the arcives and i doubt very much that you will find a post where i have gone over bored in critisising any of our players if at all. So i would say that you havent got your facts stright and that in fact makes a mokery of your posting where am I misquoting you? where? did you not write what I quoted? essentially, this is what I am saying: if you can say joe cole played well last night, which IS what you have said, how can you expect people to take your criticism of ballack and shevchenko (for example) seriously? ballack has put in plenty of peformances better than joe's last night, but no way would you have described them as good. i.e. I am comparing your view on joe cole's peformance against rosenberg with peformances from other players in other games. p.s. nibs- see above. I mixed up you and barak in my earlier comment. Ok, so find where i have critisised ballak or sheva this season, again look at what i right in frount of you, i seem to think the whole team played quite well last night, as opposed to most who dont, so its not just cole where my oppinion differes. If your honest ballak posibly had a handfull of performances better than Joe's last night and sheva less, i critisised there overall contribution to the season, i was never really one of the main game by game hatters, however you seem to have lumped me in with that crowd. And again i actually dont think he played that bad, he wasnt the messai in studs last night but he put in an average performane, ive seen worse from other players this season and not ciritsised so i think ive been consistent
  18. That was taken an interview with the tw*t himself in last season's FA Cup Final Programme. He single handedly broke my heart that day.... F*ker
  19. That's one of the most ungrateful, JCL comments I've read from a supposed supporter. And I'm a manc, so I know a JCL when I see one. I would like to tell you to stfu but since you are a manc then I suppose you don't know how to. Anyway. To be completely fair this start of the season is actually our worst since Roman arrived. Listen, 10 years ago your best player was Robert Fleck. You had no money. A good season for you was going to wembley and getting tonked by us 4-0. The dodgy russian turns up and gives you the financial leg up you needed -- few years later -- a draw in europe and you're saying 'Worst start to a season ever'. Were you one of the 17,000 missing last night ? I think you might have been. Are you going to the match sunday ? Doubt it somehow. 1. Robert Fleck was never our best player 2. 10 years ago we los 4-0 to you and David Ellery. Have you heard what that tw*t said about the two penalties? No, well go and f*****g find ou.t. 3. That's not the daftest thing he's said. I won't defend him on that. 4. The bloke lives in Sweden. There are 1,000s of people who can't get to the game for geographical, financial or health reasons. This is one reason why forums like this exist. In fairness, I was at Wembley that year, sat behind Schmeichels goal in the first half so I had a cracking view of the pens. I would say the last one was out of order, the first one, well I was too hysterical to remember at that point. Seem to remember outnumbering you lot there come to think of it. As far as your attendance goes, Chelsea have and are an expensive team to follow. They have done nothing to cultivate their new young fan base. Yes kids can afford the one off cost of a shirt, but can they afford ?40 a ticket week in week out. No they can't, so they don't go, so they don't become fanatical. They are just supporters. Meanwhile Chelsea's support is largely made up of 40 somethings who have been going for years but now have mortagages, kids, wives - and they have to prioritise and justify costs. SO when it comes between a toss up of spending the money on Rosenborg at home or watching chelsea play Spurs at home - they choose the latter. Unfortunately there isn't the youngsters waiting in the wings to take their place because they don't have the culture of attending. And if he lives in Sweden, then it's only fair he doesn't comment on subjects like attendance - well not if he doesn't want to get pulled up that is. You're also going to get turned over come sunday btw Hate to say it but other than the last few points, he has a point... However this fella is clearly not manchunian, he speaks far to much sence and seemes to have some level of intelegence (no offence lady die hard) He is clearly from essex

  21. That too is a grand generalisation, because I know a fair few didn't want us to sign them and I was one of them. Add me to the list of people that wernt overly impressed, i would have been happy with things staying the way they where and maybe the addition of tevez
  22. nibd didnt say cole played well because of the cross. infact he didnt say he was brilliant at all, just pointed out that he did put a couple of excellent crosses in to the box where and wasnt as bad as loz implied
  23. Fair enough - tell me what you saw then Ok ive read no further than this so far so will prob now be telling you things others have said but from what i saw. Cole played well, not brilliantly but crossing cirtainly was not a problem, great cross for kalou and another great cross whiped in that strangly ended up with the other cole but really should have been attacked. I also thought his genneral play was good, getting in and around the box having a pop as well as some nice interplay with kaulo. Malouda was better than just good IMO his best game in a chelsea shirt so far and was unlucky to hit the poast, i thought it was in. to be honest the only problem i really saw was maka really didnt serv a purpose today and kaulo and sheva just didnt know each other. other than one occation i can think of where sheva did very well and kaulo hit the post they played like stranger to each other but thats not there fault.
  24. I must have seen a completly different game
  25. As far as im concerned it was more of the same of whats been going around at the moment, we just havent had that little bit of lick that you some times need in football in the last 3 weeks. Kaulo must be the unluckiest player alive at the moment!! cant seem to buy a goal. The thing is we played well, hell we actually played very well and on another day could have had 3 or 4. Essien for me was a bit of a down point took to many shots when better passes were on. Sheva had a better game, much better. I personly would have liked to see maka of for SWP and Joe or SWP play central.
