I like Mount as a player. He has his good sides, very good sides actually but based on past two seasons I'd say he wasn't in a strong negotiating position.
You're only as good as your last game, until you become a legend and he hadn't attained that status yet in my opinion. I liked that he was one of the few in the team that when I saw shooting from distance I was certain would hit target or come close and that was great because we didn't have them anymore like we used to á lá Ballack, Essien, Lamps, Alex, RDM, Drogs, Hassle to name a few.
He also is great at hold up play, ball to feet, dribbling and taking players on, with a good eye for a pass so I do appreciate his positives.
Players should be allowed to move when they want to and if no longer having the passion to play for you they will be underwhelming and that could also be why he hasn't been to great past couple of seasons. If he feels short changed contractually then he will not have the fire in him and better to get rid than hang on to. Also financially it is a move that has made sense for him as well as the club so won't cry about it.
The new owners have a different vision for the club than we have had and the jury is still out if it's the right one. At the moment though it is obvious they are bent on gutting the club and restarting so the affiliations and connections we have as fans mean nothing to them and I'd argue if they have gutted the club on the inside already (management, supporting staff behind the scenes) already, it makes sense they will do it on the outside as well (the actual team) as then there is no "bad blood" left for their new people brought in to deal with. Clean slate if you like.
I've never felt so disconnected to the team but the good thing is in this day and age where football is a product and doesn't even try to pretend it's anything else, it is a bit easier to deal with looking at it from that perspective and also makes the memories built from days of yore even better.

Felt dry and probably written by a PR person, either way, I'm glad this saga is done with and we'll see him next season at old trafford, hopefully beating them and making him regret his decision.

What a joke this guy is. Do you love Chelsea? Then stay.
He's a disgrace. And all his stans who dickriding for him got the biggest "f**k you" in human history.... from Mount himself.

He is only grateful of the academy as it has given him the platform to become the the real ‘money mase’. Anyway, his call, his decision and nobody should be bound to a single employer due to the opportunities they gave them. But I’ll wish him zero luck and his new club zero luck too. Hope we do the double over them this season. Catch you on the flip side Mr Money.

On a separate matter I wonder if that guy from the gym will make a tictok of Mudryks misses and moon him... 🤣

Lamps has picked a team most of us were happy with, bar Havertz.
If you see the reaction of Enzo when Connor misses, or Madueke when Fofana misplaces a simple pass, that speaks volumes.
Not a team at all. Good players? Maybe, we will find out under Pochettino, cause most are being outshined by a kid named Lewis Hall.

I should add in addition to the Havertz Golden Boot Winner celebration DVD, the club are releasing a "Shanks and Misses of the Season DVD". It is a six DVD box set with a total running time of 18 hours 46 minutes and includes a special "Whiffs From 5 Yards" bonus DVD. Commentary on all the DVDs is provided by Harry Hill.

The transfers, the sackings, the appointments, all on the owners, all of these crazy decisions being made without any knowledge about the sport they have involved themselves in has f**ked us, but it shouldn't be this bad. The players are also a disgrace for their lack of effort and desire to make things right. I have praised Thiago Silva throughout his whole time here with us, but him bitching about the owners the other day is just an excuse. The players on the pitch can and should be offering a lot more, even if the dressing room had to be made bigger so everybody can fit. f**king hell, there are some clubs with barely a dressing room at all that will work their asses off to get the result, and they ain't walking home with 150k+ every week. This lot are in the most privileged position in the sport, they can f**k off with the excuses because I'm not having any of it.
Get out there and go face to face with the fans, obsorb their anger and sort it out. If not, f**k off out the club, I'm not interested in your sh*t excuses anymore.

We’ve spunked £600m on sh*t. During the times of Willian, Pedro and Bats getting sh*t, but looks like a f**king dream front 3 for me now. f**k sake, honestly

Ah sorry mate didn't realise Todd and Clearlake played 5 defenders and 5 midfielders at homeagainst a league 1 club on steroids. Didn't realise they put almost all of our new signings on the bench or out of the squad altogether. Didn't realise they told our players to forget how to kick a football.
This blaming of new ownership is so f**king boring

The 4th one could be Oliver Glasner.
Has won last Season with Eintracht Frankfurt the European League (Big Trophy since Decades for Eintracht) and nearly a Wonder for them. No clear Statement that he will stay for next Season. He plays attacking and high pressing Football and has good experience developing young players in Austria and Germany.
As our Director of Sport is from Red Bull Leipzig, he could know him and have maybe some Talks going on.

People will complain about the timing of the subs but the sad fact is, all of our forwards are absolutely dog sh*t and couldn’t finish their dinners.
Prime Carlo couldn’t coach these c**ts to score goals. It’s actually criminal how bad they are at finishing and it’s been the same story all year under three managers. We have been by far the better team, but it means nothing if you can’t convert chances.

See what happens when the players put some effort in and be aggressive, they can match most teams.

    We've got Super Frankie Lampard
He knows exactly what we need
    Cucu at the back
    Sterling in attack
Chelsea gonna flop the Champions League 😭

We’ve had 2 very chances that we’ve not scored. That’s the difference. We don’t take our chances.

We have among the best batch of kids at our Academy in the world. We keep selling them all. Why not clear everyone out on the first team over age 25, which solves our FFP issues, then throw the youth at the first team for a year and see how they do? I am fine being 10th-12th with youth that care and put in effort while we see who is ready for prime time. Then we become careful in the transfer market to plug the gaps and build-up from there? This mess won't be solved in one or two transfer markets so perhaps a top to bottom cultural change is needed? Just a thought.
