  1. If we made that our manifesto I'd gladly sign up for it.
  2. I'm not sure about that. There are a few decent journalists out there in print and tv who would appreciate and praise attractive football regardless of who played it. They loved us under Ranieri, although probably because we weren't a threat, but we also got plenty of praise in the Duff/Robben/No Goals Conceded golden period under Mourinho. At other times under Mourinho we did get a load of negative press, much of it deserved.
  3. If you look for problems ethicalstrategy you will certainly find them. No one or no system is perfect, including the last coach. Grant's done OK in my opinion, the predicted meltdown has not occured (yet in any case), the players appear up for it. I feel we're in a better position now than it was reasonable to hope for given the upheaval of an early season change of management.
  4. Those posts have already been written midlandblue, just waiting the first defeat.
  5. Apart from the fact that he's sh ite? I actually thought they'd both start with Malouda dropping to the bench..
  6. I have a sneaking suspicion that Sheva will start. And you should listen to me as I'm on top of the Prediction League despite having played far fewer matches than so-called legends like TT and Ossie13.
  7. You have a great collection of insults Clubhappy.
  8. I voted for Mikel. Last night was the first time I really saw the point of him. He's always been graceful and languid in style, and beautiful to watch, but he really took responsibility when he came on, which was great to see in a match where we were under severe pressure. It would have been easy for him to hide along with most of the rest of the players.
  9. Yes Glory you're always a brilliant read, and a unique voice on the site.
  10. Wrong Alan I'm afraid. I'm reliably informed by our good friend Just that we are actually on the inside pissing out all over the pesky G14. The G14/UEFA axis of evil is no more. We should be shoo-ins for the Champions League from now on.
  11. Job done. Great ref again by the way.
  12. It's on Setanta I'm afraid (as I don't subscribe).
  13. I'm losing my touch Youlots. I can't get a rise out of anyone on the site anymore. Although with Brian making yet another comeback......
  14. I am afraid to write about Him as it upsets His fanclub so much. The love they feel for Alpha Male Mourinho is obviously erotic. This is understandable in the ladies like Callista and Bluenut, the gay men like Don Youlots, and the confused like BackInBlue, but less easy to explain among the others. I would say the intensity of their feelings surprise even themselves.
  15. Thanks G4. That's what I thought. I guess the "swedish" way to pronounce it is "Lester" but the real way is the way you wrote Swedes - Gods own little jokes. You can sing that The Moos.

Going Underground or Start - The Jam?
  17. I can't take my eyes off her tits, which as far as I'm concerned, can move any way they like..
  18. Liam replied to Tim W's topic in International Football
3 options Tim? O Dreary (utter bar steward forever associated with dirty L*ds) Givens (we haven't got close to qualifying for a thing under him) Brady (failure the only time he was in charge of anything other than running the cafe) In that case I have 3 options for the England job - Les Read, Sammy Lee and Kevin keegan.
  19. He plays the game from the heart. He can be joyful, exuberant, exciting, surprising. He can be the boy inside us all as we dribble past the L*ds defence with Brian Moore commentating. He can be the reason we fell in love in with the game in the first place. Not because it fills vicariously some hole in our lives where we need to be winners, but because it's the beautiful game. But we'll soon have that knocked out of him with any luck.
  20. Worked fine just now from home. TT your days are numbered.
  21. Tried that. I think it happens at home too, but I'll check tonight.
  22. When I click that link you posted it defaults to the dogsy.com page. If I google CSR and click the link it defaults to that page too. Even the link from Priesty's page ends up there. This has been happening for months. But not everytime which is the really strange. For example last Friday I was able to make a submission. Am I the only person it happens to? Weird.
  23. Exactly the same. Does it not happen to you too?
  24. I regularly have problems accessing the submission form. The link defaults to this page. Does this happen to anyone else? [web]http://mycfc.dogsy.com/[/web]
  25. It comes from the fact that he spent a lot of time languishing on the bench. These are the premier league appearances for some players under Mourinho. Number of games started/Number of substitute appearances Lampard 111/1 Terry 101/1 Makelele 91/6 Carvalho 75/5 Drogba 73/21 Ferreira 65/9 Even...Robben 51/16 Cole 48/30 Shevchenko by the way 21/9 Apart from fewer starts it is obvious that when he was available Joe's ratio of starts to sub appearances is much higher than any of the others. Add to that the fact that when he did start he was almost invariably substituted, often around the 60 minute mark, and Joe's relative lack of playing time is evident.
