BBC coverage - a Lawro unto itself
You're a proper journalist Dorset!

Gutted..Pompey vs Blues
I don't know why you get so much stick. That post reads the same as the majority of posts on here over the past 5 months.

Time for some new boots?
One of my main contributions to my team was my tackling ability, in the days when a touch of stud-raking was not only permissable but encouraged. The tackle from behind was a great art form for any self-respecting centre-half and it was a source of great disappointment to me, and my central defensive partner of 12 years, when it was banned. The change of rule on the back pass was bad news too. At the slightest hint of trouble we'd just turn and knock it back to the keeper. All this passing out of defence stuff was for girls. I couldn't have worn those boots above. It just couldn't have happened.

Good Read
I think he's ignoring your sycophancy the same as he ignored your abuse.

Munich and all that ....
I agree with you here Clubhappy. Sympathy fatigue sets in when every single excuse to pay respects is exploited. 50th anniversery is fine as long as they leave it until the 75th before having another orgy of remembrance.

Ashley Cole: what a tool.
Next you'll be telling us the Champions League is fixed. Nice theory though. Did they throw in the vomiting to prove his gag reflex is intact?

Assessing Avram? No Time Like The Present
Never let the facts get in the way of a good myth, eh Coco. Grant's done well but he really must learn to take the pressure off the players. Great writing as usual Dorset.

Ashley Cole: what a tool.
Another classy piece of journalism from the Soaraway Sun. Little details like the spanking leaving a mark of his ring on her buttocks. Gives new meaning to the term ringpiece. I like the image of him beavering away with his little tool only pausing for the occasional puke. Sums him up for me.

Carling Cup Everton vs Chelsea!
That's exactly right.

Carling Cup Everton vs Chelsea!
Just too good for Everton. Ratings: Cech - 7 - Some great saves from the best keeper in the world Belletti - 6 - OK defensively, OK going forward Carvalho - 7 - Has clearly taken Just's criticisms on board Alex - 7 - Now reminds me of Paul McGrath when he was 34 (praise indeed) Bridge - 7 - Best English left back Makalele - 8 - Even the loss of an ear hasn't diminished his powers. Plays the "Makalele Role" so well you'd think it was named after him Sidwell - 5 - Sunderland Joe Cole - 7 - 6 for the goal. That's why we love him SWP - 6 - Had a number of opportunities to attack space but declined. Stangely subdued Malouda - 6 - All 6 for that pass Anelka - 7 - Looks class. Movement brilliant. Lots of Gallic insouciance Grant - 7 - Wonderful moment where he sat there watching the match. Classic Grant Chelsea fans - 10 - Brilliant support the whole match long

When will Amy Winehouse die?
With any luck the creator of that website will die before her.

Mascherano..hmmmmm
If we got him, and held on to Lamps and Maka we could have a midfield 5 of Mikel, Lampard, Makalele, Essien and Mascherano. Ethicalstrategy would cream himself! He would be perfect as a replacement for Makalele. I'd love it if we got him.

Keegan wants SWP
Why, thank you. One does one's best.

Keegan wants SWP
What was his name? Paul O'Leary, Patrick Neary, something like that...

Liverpool 2-Villa 2

Ashley Cole vs Wayne Bridge
Bridge everytime. And the fact that Cole is a total tosspot can't be discounted as it effects the overall karma of the team.
-
Bridge to Newcastle now!
Bridge is better, and he scored THAT goal, and he's not a bag of total w ank.

Birmingham City v. CHELSEA
Percy Riccy By the way Gem, you're a Chelsea nut, you love Duffer, you hate Stevie G, you swear like a sailor, and you're brilliant at Tetris. I think I'm falling in love.

Keegan back at Newcastle
Followed with "...and if that means going back to your beloved Chelsea then so be it, we won't hold you back, we won't even ask for a transfer fee, go be happy" Duffer got his hair cut Gem, obviously taking your advice.

stand up for grant
I think the players committment to the club has been exemplary. I don't necessarily think they are behind Grant but then agasin I think their committment to Mourinho has been vastly overstated. I just think they are a group of excellent professional footballers - the best that money can buy.
-
Keegan back at Newcastle
Well said Rob. I hope he says to Duffer - "Go out there and enjoy yourself son".
