You were let away with that one Toby. That'll show you how big we are around here.

JUST...Who Are Chelsea's Greatest Ever Goal Scorers?
Loz that is totally out of order. Explain yourself man. Because the alternative explanation that Brian is trying to weasel his way out of a simple grammar mistake is impossible to believe.

JUST...Who Are Chelsea's Greatest Ever Goal Scorers?
It is possible to edit a post and the tag line "last edited at...." not to appear once the edit is made with a minute or so. So mein fuhrer edited the quote to make you look stupid Brian. Why would he do that?

JUST...Who Are Chelsea's Greatest Ever Goal Scorers?
Either mein fuhrer edited the quote or the original post was edited. Maybe G4 could start a completely unbiased poll.

JUST...Who Are Chelsea's Greatest Ever Goal Scorers?
Are you suggesting mein fuhrer that having had his grammar corrected Brian edited his post in an attempt to disguise his earlier mistake? Now that is truly sad.

Do you remember this bloke
Back to Sheva. Ciould we try him a right back? It's a position that requires little skill and basically anyone could play there. Also the fact that both his legs and his confidence have gone wouldn't matter as much. It would be also a good way to keep Roman happy and reduce the tension between him and Jose.

Robben is off to Real
I'm sad to see him go. But he didn't show enough desire to turn into a left back so it was inevitable. Joe will be next.

Chelsea vs. Portsmouth
I did give it a lot of thought.

JUST...Who Are Chelsea's Greatest Ever Goal Scorers?
Just dissected that hattrick once in a quite brilliant polemic. Just - any chance you could recreate that classic CSR moment? Fat arse, wavy arms, too many goals. There's your Jimmy entry. I don't know why you're bothering Brian.

Liverpool (AWAY) Man of the Match
Studiously avoiding the use of capital letters is really pretentious. L

Week 3: Liverpool vs Chelsea
I reckon we'll take the point and run like f**k out of that sh*t hole.

John OBI has a touch of Ballackitis ...
I still think he has potential but I'd like to see some kind of learning curve. I don't think he's earned the right to stroll through big games like today's though. Perhaps he's been reading his reviews on here!

Put these strikers in order.........
1. Peter Osgood If 1970 was the reason I started supporting Chelsea then Osgood made me sure I'd made the right decision. Impossibly glamourous - my dim memories of him were of a player that stood out miles above every other on the pitch. My father raved about him too and the mantra osgood is good was repeated every week at home. 2. Kerry Dixon Similar to Osgood he had an elegance all of his own and always seemed the most graceful player on the pitch. Fantasic goal scoring record and the cause of countless celebrations in an era when wins were not as frequent as they are today. 3. Didier Drogba The perfect modern footballer - strong, athletic and powerful. Not really my type of player though due to a complete absence of subtlety and a certain meanness in his nature. Could this claim not have been made for Greaves? My old man certainly raved about him. I like Jimmy but he doesn't belong on that list.

Cardiff blow their chance of silverware
As Scott has so rightly pointed out he is an enormously-arsed, wavey-armed goal machine. May he live long and prosper.

80's gig
Absolutely love it. Great choice. Bluebeard's list is incredible.

The all round Callista's gaff for a party thread
Brought me back alright Just. I voted for your arse by the way.

football or shopping
I liked the "maybe Spurs" bit - a dig at Robbie Keane who wouldn't be Roy's cup of tea. For a mad Paddy with a permanent red mist he often has interesting things to say.

Week 2: Reading vs Chelsea
The criticism that Lawrenson gets for continually predicting 2-0 wins to Chelsea is a bit like the criticism that Jimmy gets for scoring too many goals.

This line was hardly a selling point for the competition Qaz.

Chelsea v Birmingham
Fantastic stuff. Thanks lads and thanks Mourinho for setting the team up like that. I'm in love with football again.

I'm going to stick my neck out here and go for.....Benny.

Jimmy Back at Chelsea!
How about cutting 20% of Jimmy's goals, and giving him only 75% of Drogba's work rate but throwing in a further 15% of Maka's defensive positionin sense and 30% of JT's heart, I'll wager we would have got more points that we did with Jimmy's former weaknesses even allowing for the extra goals he brought the team, or something.

80's gig
You were though. Have to say some fantastic choices by both of you. Clubhappy where is the club?
