Captian gets my vote, although no one really stood out to be fair. Reckon if Pizarro had started or got some more service he may have nicked it. I know he missed a pretty good chance, but maybe if he had started he would have taken it.

No-one stood out for us.

I gave it to Joe Cole. Simply for having to be quietly patient and wait for his chance to play....................................... again.

I gave it to JT for standing in the way of the Liverfool juggernaut. But, I'm with Just on the 'give Joe Cole a chance!'

"He's here, he's there, he's every f*cking where, Joe Cole, Joe Cole!"

Ludicrous situation - again. To only get about 10 minutes, especially with his great record against that lot icon_rolleyes.gif

Oh well, at least he'll get a good run out Wednesday for the second team, or England as they are also known.

I went to vote but there isn't a Glen Johnson button - Loz - get it sorted mate!!!

PS - My real MOTM vote is for Loz for this comment

Was it a penalty? Of course it was, couldn't have been clearer if Malouda had been cut in two with a stanley and had his pockets rifled whilst he lay on the ground bleeding to death

Mikel Obi and SWP were the best in our camp and lay off the ref. A couple years ago the Scouse were beaming when we were knocked out of the CL with a dubious goal. The shoe is on the other foot now so it squeezes. I have no pity for them.

JT for me- even when nothing appeared to be happening for us he was still playing with some fury and really... really didn't want to lose. Good to see him shouting at torres- if more of our boys had that attitude (with fair play of course) every week we'd be unbeatable! but then... there's only one terry!
