When you look at where Mount and James were at that age and how far they've come since then, the sky could really be the limit for this guy. I really don't get what Lampard was doing letting him go. It's a shame cause he did such a good job with the rest of the academy lads yet he completely froze Tomori out this season. Considering how awful our defence was he could've at least got a few games. 24m for a defender playing week in week out for the 2nd best team in Italy is a joke, especially given how young he is. It's on the board as as well for giving AC Milan such a cheap buy option. He got player of the season over Mason Mount at Derby, that should show how much potential he has, I wouldn't be surprised if this turned out to be another KDB/Salah level error.

I think our league performance under Tuchel averaged out to a 76 point season. With a full pre season + the young players improving we should be aiming for 80+ next year. Throw in a top striker and we'll defo mount a good title challenge

On top of all he's done for us, he was also arguably the main reason for the Leicester City miracle, they were mid table for years after he left. It's a hard one cause Lampard's numbers are unmatched by any midfielder but I think Kante is our greatest ever player, I hope he becomes the first Chelsea player to win the Ballon D'or

Apparently Eddie Howe turned down the Celtic job so could see him going there. Developing young players is Lampard's biggest strength as a manager and Celtic are a good side for that, so it'd be good fit for him (there will be a million Gerrard comparisons though).

Is Haaland really as unrealistic as everyone says he is? Barca are broke atm and I doubt Real have the funds either (given they're trying to offload Hazard for cheap). That leaves Man Utd, City and us. United most likely won't go for a striker with Cavani's new deal so it's just between us and Man City I'd imagine. Imo 140m on Haaland's a far better investment than 100m on Lukaku given Haaland's younger age and far higher ceiling. Given Roman's net worth increase I can see us breaking the bank for him this summer

Long time lurker here That game was pretty awful but it's been a great turn around this season. I think hardly anyone could have envisioned top 4 and a CL final 4 months ago. I think fatigue has clearly started to set in these past few weeks given we've been competing seriously in 2 cup competitions, we badly need a striker next season to put chances away though. I think if Mendy's fit it's a 50/50 between us and City, our style seems to match up well with them
