Looks like people getting emotionally attached to the coach again. Never should happen at Chelsea. 2 to 3 seasons max at Chelsea irregardless how well he does. There’s bound to be something. Player power, clash with the owners, fams impatience, all that lot. Tired of going through this cycle but this has become routine here. No emotion is justified again. He is just another staff. I remembered everyone being amazed by Potter first few days.

People talk about unlimited funds and wealth at City and for Pep.

most don’t realise how hard it is to consistently perform and be at the top and motivate your teams to play a certain way. Pep does that consistently and sustain those performances and motivation year after year.

just ask Klopp, Mou, Tuchel how difficult doing that means. Even with money.

I don’t care about anything else. But Pochettino need to make us play like City now or prime Spurs when he was there. Direct, creative and penetrative. No other style matters. Pep style wins hands down no matter what anyone says.

the amount of time needed to conclude this feels like we are interviewing a manager to last more than two years

I don’t get why people are asking for Jose. We all know it’s going to be shorter term with Jose before we repeat the whole cycle again. Why not get it right and tame a gamble instead of going full circle to Jose. Again. Yes again for the third time!

just hire Pep already. There isn’ta more successful coach whichever way you see it.

As much as I feel PEA is not the right player for us as this stage, I was hoping that he will be given a chance to make things work.

This is entirely on the club and shows how disjointed is it’s decision making and a vision for the future really is. Terrible treatment and decision to sign a player with no clear vision on how he will fit into the club.

So we now ask of Lamps to do what Tuchel did winning the CL when he took over mid season after a messed up season left by Lamps.

    Luis Enrique is more experienced?
havent managed a club since 2017
only real experience is a club with MSN that probably is on auto pilot with Xavi and Iniesta pulling the strings and also Pep legacy and style well absorbed by the team.

why is he out of job again?

Would have avoided this mess by simply keeping Tuchel. But no they had to think they knew best. Sack the new owners I’d say. Buy sh*t load of bad players but sack the best manager around.

I agree that clueless manager is dangerously affecting our players ability.

I am seriously concerned about good players wanting to join us. Why would Nkunku, Osimhen join us knowing their ability will be curtailed? Look at Felix.

thank god Enzo is in his own altogether.

Lahms comments on PSG pretty much describes us as well.

Messi's skills are used without purpose or direction [at PSG]. The individuals simply do not know how to collectively score a goal and, generally, how to contribute... This exorbitantly expensive team resemble a luxury department store, displaying precious exhibits that everyone marvels at but no one can afford.
