  1. Real Madrid president Ramon Calderon has reiterated his belief that Robinho will stay in the Spanish capital. With transfer deadline day edging ever closer the Brazil international remains at Santiago Bernabeu. Talks over a potential move to Premier League outfit Chelsea are believed to be ongoing, with the player stressing his desire to secure a move to England. However, Calderon is reluctant to part with the talented playmaker and insists the 24-year-old has been swayed by the views of his advisors. "He's going to stay here, I'm saying that," the Real supremo told ABC, adding that Robinho was "a good boy, badly advised." Chelsea boss Luiz Felipe Scolari has made the South American star his top target this summer, but the Blues have already had one bid knocked back by their Spanish counterparts. The transfer window is set to slam shut on Monday, allowing little time for a deal to finally be struck. Left out The Blues will take heart, however, from the news that Robinho has been left out of the Real squad to face Deportivo La Coruna in their season opener on Sunday. Boss Bernd Schuster claims the decision has been taken in order to give the forward time to regain his focus, while also backing Calderon's claims that the Brazilian remains an integral part of the first-team squad. "This was purely my decision and was not influenced by anyone else at the club," he said. "Personally I believe this is the best solution for Madrid and the player after everything which has gone on this week. "I have not spoken with the player, but he will not travel with the squad. "However, I insist that Robinho is a key player and I am keen to keep continuity at Real Madrid." ive said it before and ill say it again calderon gets on my tits
  2. ha ha thats brilliant. he really is a dirty cheatin wee scum bag that scholes twat
  3. Real Madrid forward Robinho has insisted that negotiations with Chelsea are ongoing. The Brazilian had looked set to move to Stamford Bridge, with Blues chief executive Peter Kenyon stating earlier this week that a deal was close. The saga later took another twist with the Spanish champions apparently more determined to keep hold of Robinho. The 24-year-old is under contract at the Bernabeu for two more seasons and has resumed training with Real, but he maintains that he still hopes to join Chelsea. "I have a contract with Real Madrid now, but we are still negotiating with Chelsea," Robinho told globoesporte. Reports have suggested that Robinho is set to apologise to Real and their fans for publicly declaring his desire to leave and link up with Luiz Felipe Scolari. However, Robinho has rubbished the stories and stressed that his sole focus is resolving his future. "A lot of things are being published and they are not the truth," he explained. "It is not true that I said that I was going to apologise to the press. "We are working to seal my future, nothing else."

  9. FROM THE SITE John Terry, Frank Lampard and Petr Cech have all been given Uefa awards in their respective positions. The Player of the Year Awards, which are based on the three Blues' performances during last season's Champions League campaign, were handed out during the ceremony in Monaco to celebrate the group stage draw. Captain Terry won the Defender of the Year Award after leading the Blues to our first Champions League Final in Moscow last May. Frank Lampard beat off the likes of Paul Scholes, Steven Gerrard and Cesc Fabregas to be given the Midfielder of the Year Award while Petr Cech was named Goalkeeper of the Year for the second year in a row after another impressive season on the European stage between the Chelsea posts. Chief executive Peter Kenyon said: 'It is a major achievement for Petr, John and Frank, but it also reflects very well on the club and we are delighted that three Chelsea players have been awarded Uefa Player of the Year in their respective fields. 'It is well deserved and Frank has been in and around achieving that award for the last four seasons, so it is not just about last season, it is about the contribution those three players have made to European football over the past few years. 'It is great they have got what they deserve.' Speaking about Cech's second successive award in two years Kenyon said: 'We all think Petr Cech is world class and this just demonstrates that he is on top of his game and everybody in Europe recognises him as one of Europe's greatest goalkeepers.' Fresh from his award and back in England, John Terry will be appearing live on Chelsea TV's Big Match Countdown tomorrow (Friday) at 7pm, taking calls and emails from fans.

  13. i know what your sayin here but i do enjoy the wind up side of it. anybody lookin at that will be thinkin what a bunch of arrogant twats but harden them lets just laugh at it. anyway on a different note is it just me or is anyone else really REALLY sick of this arsehole calderon? he really does bore the tits of me with his constant talk of how they will keep him if they dont get a replacement. if they want to keep him then fine keep him but stop cryin about how nobody wants him to leave when players have already come out and said they think he should go, the fans have already had a go because he has the balls to come out and say he wants to leave(take note cristiano) and he himself has stated numerous times he wants out... give it a rest calderon

  17. chelle you are bang on and dont even think you sound moany the sad fact is that we dont have the great atmosphere many of us would like but with more fans like yourself that could soon be sorted. CARE FREE!
  18. i dont think we ave been awful! we are always a bit off the boil after internationals and the brilliant display of last week is gonna be hard to beat. should be better in the second half. maybe big phil will even bring on anelka...... oh hold on a minute
  19. The fact that the terms of the deal will remain confidential means we're probably loaning him back to AC and paying some of his wages. Cheers Peter! actually the sky sports italian correspondent says that most over ther ethink that the reason it is being kept quiet is because it will eventually lead to a future signing coming the other way. they said kaka but who knows
  20. Ramon Calderon says Real Madrid will not sell Robinho to Chelsea and suggests the courts will have to decide what the Brazilian must pay to terminate his contract. Robinho has expressed his wish to leave Real before the close of the transfer window in order to link up with Premier League side Chelsea. Real responded to the forward's comments on Friday by revealing they would not want to keep an unhappy player at the Bernabeu. However, Real appear to want Robinho to buy his way out of his contract, rather than look to negotiate a deal with Chelsea. When asked if he would be prepared to accept an offer from Chelsea of 40million euros (£32m) or 50million euros (£40m), Real president Calderon was firm in his response. Disrespectful "No," he told radio station Cadena SER, "because transfers must be done when the competition ends, not five days after the start of the season. "It is disrespectful to the club, history and the fans. "We want Robinho to stay in Madrid, but this situation leaves us unable to do anything. "He could terminate his contract and the courts would decide what he has to pay." Different Chelsea have already had an offer for Robinho rejected and manager Luiz Felipe Scolari believes the 24-year-old would provide his team with a different dimension. Scolari said: "I have never coached Robinho, but he is different and we need a player like that - a player on the pitch who makes a difference. "If we have only one system of play, it will be easy for our opponents. If we need to change the system, we need a different player and Robinho's style is what we want. "At the moment, I don't know the situation. Real have a player and they put a price on him. I have a good squad, but if I have one more player, that would be good." i understand that madrid are prob well pissed off with robbie sayin he wants to leave but this calderon fella is really beginning to bore me. just agree a deal and get on with it.
  21. you are a d**khead mate nobody is with you now f**k off to wherever it is you come from.w**ker
  22. some girl in the front row of yesterdays interview asked JT if he was a suitable role model, when he said yes she said WHY! ill tell you why sweetheart here is a fella who has had his share of bad times and run ins with the law tho nowhere near what most of us fellas his age have prob had and despite the constant critisism from media circles and the likes he has been named england captain by a second manager.he has won the player of the year which i believe was only the second time in 15 odd years a defender had done so.he has been an outstanding captain for chelsea and has spent nearly his entire carear playing for us and despite how most footballers conduct themselves he is not in the press every day cryin about better contracts. noone said a role model had to be flawless and JT aint but he is certainly not the worst around and in my opinion kids growing up in the game could learn a whole lot from a fantastic leader.
  23. i genuinly believe this is part of a future kaka deal. last i heard sheva was going nowhere especially milan on loan but now (supposidly)here he goes.... def think kaka will be here next season p.s give di santo the chance he needs especially in the matches we are running away with which will be quite a few hopefully
  24. because he is a moaning git and drogba is a handful on his own without getting him a cryin buddy.
