They are going to park the bus. They know that we have to score so they will get seven or eight men behind the ball and look to hit us on the break. We cannot afford to fall for the sucker punch, because if they score first it will become an uphill battle. That said, if we score first they will have to chase the game so the tactics will be reversed. We need a big performance from the Drog because I think he will be the key to unlocking their defence as long as he stays on his feet. Also the crowd will have a big part to play, we need to get right behind the team and make some noise! I'm quietly confident, 2-0 to the Chels!

Agree with everyone else, best I have seen Malouda play. Another performance like that on Tuesday and I will be well happy. Mentions also for Ivan (as usual) and Mikel who I thought had one of his better games.

I agree with Clubhappy in that I'm not too bothered about the draw because I think we will beat Villa and whoever we may play in the final. I feel that we have crossed the Rubicon, and if anything was going to happen then it would have happened today. Our performance was better than I thought it would be given our recent form and distractions. We will be stronger from now on.

Voted Alex as he was immense! Mikel had a good game too, breaking play up and his distribution wasn't bad, he even managed to cut down on the needless-free-kicks-conceded count too. A nod too to Ivan who turned in another one of his usual excellent displays.

I think Ivan has had a great season and is the model of consistency. He's the sort of guy every team needs, an unsung hero who anyone would want beside them in the trenches. His level of commitment is the same regardless of the opposition or occasion. If a few other players would take a leaf out of his book we would be an even better side than we are now
