  2. Welcome Bridgeman
  3. Just cracked open a Grolsch to raise a glass and help him on his way........
  4. I agree with all your choices BB apart from Mourinho and Ancelotti (now he's here. I would have preferred Hiddink to stay) Ancelotti needs time to bring in his own players, because we all know that he has inherited an ageing side, and build his own team. We can then judge him on his merits.
  5. bluevale2 replied to geezer's topic in Chelsea FC Rumours
What about Joe Hart? If we got him and used him in exactly the same circumstances that Geezer is suggesting, I think he would be a great asset. Not sure Citeh would sell, especially to us though.
  6. There's a lot of sensible comment in there BST. You have driven me from being down to full blown depression! However, we have to adopt the attitude of 'what doesn't kill you makes you stronger', put today behind us, regroup and thrash Stoke next week.
  7. Voted for Ivan with a nod to Lamps, they were the only two who were above average, although that said I can't believe we lost that game. Actually we didn't, we gave it away. We have to come together, dig in and want that title more than The Sh*t and The Arse KTBFFH
  8. Brilliant, absolutely brilliant!
  9. [quote name='jim hamilton' date='Feb 25 2010, 16:19 PM' post='261 I'm not a name dropper LOL but i also have a few friends in music which is cool Cheers Jim. Jim, drop names!!!
  10. I'm gutted too, I really hoped you were going to win that
  11. I really hope he'll come back as a coach or something and perhaps returns to Chelsea to teach the young lads all he knows. Perhaps could give Mikel some extra training as well That might not be a bad idea! Happy retirement Maka, you truly are a world-class player
  12. 27 Feb 10 - 12:45 Chelsea v Man City (Lets win this one for Ossie) 27 Feb 10 - 15:00 Birmingham v Wigan 27 Feb 10 - 15:00 Bolton v Wolves DRAW 27 Feb 10 - 15:00 Burnley v Portsmouth 27 Feb 10 - 17:30 Stoke v Arsenal 28 Feb 10 - 13:00 Tottenham v Everton 28 Feb 10 - 15:00 Liverpool v Blackburn DRAW 28 Feb 10 - 15:00 Sunderland v Fulham Thanks Chippy (and Coco) We are going to win this week!!
  13. I thought he would be out for longer, so on the face of it i'm quite pleased. Agree with bjd and Chippy that Hilario does not let us down when called upon
  14. It will be a tough game. They have not got to the semi's for about 35 years so they will be well up for it. Tony Pulis really gets the best out of what he has at his disposal.
  15. I've actually lost my virginity and voted for Mikel for the first time ever, for encouragement purposes. I did this with Malouda a while ago and it seemed to work! Thought Ivan showed his usual excellent commitment, and Malouda worth a mention, especially as he was touted as a potential weak link before kick off, I thought he did ok. Gutted about Cech though
  16. Come on Florent old son we need a game and a half from you tonight! 2-2 I think Come on the Chels!!!!
  17. Well said Maksimov!!

  20. Wembley 1994 v the Mancs left me absolutely rock bottom, i've never felt as bad as that through football before or since. Mrs. BV has told me to say that I often have a tear in my eye just after I have sat on my knackers, which I do quite often apparently!
  21. Welcome to the forum Jim!!
  22. Unlucky Aliboy, you just can't trust the spuds to do anything right can you?
  23. Well i'm glad that its not only me. How envious I was of teams like the Arse and the Ratmunchers in those days, who never had to worry about being relegated. Hopefully we have now joined this exclusive club!
