Malouda by a mile for me.

Also special mention for Mikel (other than the fact he was probably the guilty party who gave Parker all the space in the world to strike West Ham's goal) because he had to do the work of three men today. Ballack and Lampard must have been out buying Mother's Day presents because they didn't appear on the pitch today.

Another decent game at left back by Paulo as well (bar his cock up right at the start which could have cost us dearly)

I agree with what everyone has said. Malouda, threatening the whole time. 2 assists and a goal.

Perfect analysis. I could not agree more.

Malouda obvously, good game for Alex JT Ferreira and Ivan, Mikel even made a couple of decent forward passes and a shot that stayed inside the corner flag.

I don't think Ballack and Lampard were as bad as most of you and was more worried about the form of Anelka.

You have to give Frank a bit of slack as Parker was snapping at him and had an excellent game.

Drogs again dangerous even when not having a blinder.

Nice to get the four goals as it means Arsenal need six tonight to go top and I won myself eighty five quid.

Malouda by a mile. Mikel also very good though.

True. It's been a while now Anelka is playing very poorly. I was glad when he was subbed. If he is to stay the same, then I hope Joey starts in his place against Inter - though I doubt it.

Anyway, motm, no doubt Malouda. He was superb today.

Malouda all day. I though Mikel's positioning for the throw in was a little suspect, but he was closing down the throw and the ball bounced over his head; Lampard or Ballack could have filled that gap. Also, on the Mike front, I feel he started looking more and more forward with his passing, and although some were cut out it was great to see.

Whomever the commentator was on my stream kept going on about how Parker wuold be first team at Chelsea ahead of Mikel! I think running about throwing yourself into "determined" tackles blinds half of these commentators into believing that is "putting in a good shift!"

First time I think I've seen perfect consensus on here after this many votes. Malouda gave an exhibition in wing play today exactly the kind of performance that had me excited when we first bought him after WC 2006.

Second best game he's played for me, after his destruction of Tony Hibbert down the left in the FA Cup final last year. At least this time there wasn't any reason (ie. incompetance) for the officials to stop him capping his day with a goal.

It was obviously Lampard's fault Parker's shot went in. Should have been closing him down, Mikel was blameless for that goal.

Mikel has shown he has the ability to make those passes ever since his arrival at the club. See his performances in the CL for us in his debut season particularly against Porto & Valencia.

It was when Mourinho left the club & Grant was hired that we started wasting his talent, Scolari completely destroyed the boys confidence by telling him to sit and mop up things in the midfield. Thing is that has helped him alot defensively though which is a good thing.

Thankfully, Carlo has seen the potential in him and started allowing him to have more influence on the games and help dictate it. He'll never develop into the World Class Attacking Midfielder he should have become but I can see Ancelotti slowing turning him into a deep lying playmaker. If he becomes anything like Pirlo/Xabi Alonso we'll have a real talent on our hands..

I like Mikel, but it was poor match for him...

LOL

Being fair to Parker Scott I think he did have a good shift and scored a very well taken goal, where the commentators go wrong is thinking a good shift in a West Ham shirt would add up to a good shift in a Chelseas shirt..

His distribution was not good and Mikels was better, at Chelsea with the possesin we usually have having someone running around snapping at heels and highly motivated would be a waste of a player that would break up attacks and use the ball to better effect.

I do think he is a good player but not Chelsea quality where he would have to be back up and get chances in the more physical games.

I had those commentators as well, they seemed to be willing the Spammers on and even at 3-1 were desperate to see a nailbiting finale..they got the opposite with our fourth :D

Whats the point in saying that ?

Mikel. Dominated the midfield today was easily our best midfielder.

Some idiots still want him out of the club though.... :D

Mate, if you had played in our midfield today instead of Mikel you would've been our best midfielder.

He played ok. No more no less. Just like he always does.

Goal was his fault too, half arsed jump to try and save the fact he had lost his man completely.

Yes i do want him out of the team, and if that makes me a idiot in your eyes so be it. The bloke is a fraud of a footballer. He is only playing for us now because Pirlo said no.
