SWP, hard to deny. I would strongly disagree about Bridge being that kind of player. I think he is selective about crosses he puts in (sometimes too selective to the point he simply won't just try a cross), and more often than not his crosses are quality.

But it's the ultimate job for getting media attention. Mourinho might like that. Was joking about this with a friend who said he could pick Gerrard for England just to play him out of position. Very optimistic... not saying that can't happen but IMO a draw wouldn't be the worst result. Rosenborg haven't been the pushovers people thought they might be (turned out to be Valencia ). About the weather... if we're going to put in players who will be able to adapt to the cold better, the English lads should do fine, especially Terry, even without sleeves and gloves. Which means Joey and Lamps too should be in. Somehow I feel like Bridgey will lose focus more than Ashley would in those conditions... also, stands to reason the African boys will find the going tougher. Sometimes I wish we still had a couple of good Scandinavians...
