FC Copenhagen v Chelsea (CL) 22/2/11 KO 19:45 GMT
Yeah, FSC is reporting a 4-4-2 however they were saying that Malouda might play the role of the AM in a 4-3-1-2. Really have to wait to see how they line up. Edit: And woohoo, my lovely wife is going to go do the errand for me so I can watch the game!

Started 20th, my strikers all lost their spark. Change of formation, going to see how that goes.

FC Copenhagen v Chelsea (CL) 22/2/11 KO 19:45 GMT
My prediction: 1-1 It's going to definitely be a tough match. A draw isn't a bad result. And of course, I need to be on the road during the match. I'm recording it, so hopefully there will be some good points to see.

Ancelotti delivers Chelsea bombshell:
I'm not sure if this is the right place to put this, but it appears that Roma is going to offer CA the job: LINK This may be the way he "escapes" the current situation here at the club. Of course, it's debatable as to how much he put us in these shoes, but this is definitely an out.

Shed End Football Manager challenge
I have to say that I'm having fun with this so far. It's good to take a team that I know much less of and use whatever sliver or knowledge I have to try to advance them forward. I'll probably get a few good solid hours in tonight. I play it on the lappy while my wife watches TV. It's like quality time but gaming time all at the same time!

Yes, I've had that same problem with McEachran. So far, I've actually used a subbing game with him and Kakuta and it's worked out well for me. I can't seem to get them on the pitch at the same time without risking Josh's stamina long-term. I also picked up Joel Thomas as a transfer. The guy has done well. Being French, he seems to have an instant link with Kakuta. The two have hooked up a couple of times for me already.

Played a 4-3-3 in my first match against Hinckley. Won 5-0. Had 25 shots on goal, with 9 on target. They had 0. I'm waiting for Kakuta and Van Annaholt to finish their loans to me. I decided to put our very own Josh in the middle. He scored 2 and was dominant.

Wow, really? No, the teams shouldn't be seeded. Otherwise it's just another tournament that's set up to make it harder for those teams that don't happen to be in that top 5-6 in the prem. Leave it as it is.

I still haven't started. I will be tonight. My "honey do" list has just been way too long this weekend. /sigh

Get behind Carlo
I'm behind Carlo. He is our manager, and I'm hoping he'll pull us out of this funk. A good run in the CL and a top 4 finish next year isn't so bad. It could be a lot worse. KTBFFH! Edit: Next year? I meant this year.

I plan on starting tonight. The misses had me shopping this morning and after the FA loss, I'm just too gutted to start now. Couldn't even enjoy my lunch.

Chelsea v Everton (FA Cup) 19/02/11 KO 12:30 GMT
So incredibly frustrated and pissed at the moment... I just can't say more than that.

If Malouda has a yellow (which it was a yellow), then Cahill should have a yellow as well. Why the inconsistency in the reffing is beyond me. As far as the Ramires play goes, I believe it was a penalty but I also think Ramires might have tried to make sure everyone knew it was a penalty. Unfortunately, it backfired.

So include the Scottish league or not? Starting my squad tonight. Be prepared to see my immense fail as I finish last in this competition!

Just to get used to the game, I'm using the lads in Blue to rock the Prem. Soon I'll get adventurous.

MOTM vs Fulham
I agree BB. If Luiz committed a penalty, then the penalty should have been given for Malouda in the 68th minute. That's the way I see it. As far as MOTM goes, I went with Luiz. He seemed to be everywhere. Ramires was a close second, and Cech third for saving us a point.

I probably won't say anything that hasn't been said already. This was another gut wrenching match to watch. Again, we looked very narrow and there was nothing done to change it. Torres is going to ease into the team. There were a couple of times where it would have looked brilliant if he could have gotten a little bit of control of that final touch. Luiz was fantastic. He had that little screw up at the end, but he was quality. Ramires was brilliant throughout the entire match. I am very down about our chances to stay in the top 4... Very down.

Sturridge
That is the question. I have a feeling that he won't come back next year, but I hope he does.

Following our young guys!
Agreed. I don't think that ball was completely out.

Sturridge just scored! 3 in 3.
