I renewed my season ticket yesterday online and recieved a confirmation email yesterday. I would wait a while and ring up with the confirmation number you would have recieved when you submitted your payment details. If you are anything like me and didn't note it down, a call to the box office should still be enough.

I think this is a good point, I had exactly this conversation with a friend earlier. You can get a season ticket at the Bridge within a season by accruing loyalty points....a couple of away, FA cup and CL games plus all home games is enough. West Ham and Spuds tickets were sent back...I am not convinced we could justify a 60,000 seater and if we did fill it, I am convinced the additional seating would almost be exclusively taken up by (West Stand variety) fans that will not contribute to the atmosphere.

Came in last night after a messy BBQ and caught this on Chelsea TV....watching Lampard trying not to laugh is priceless.

There was a lot of running up and down the North End Road before the game. Was a bit like the end of the Benny Hill show.

I feel that this is a familiar theme. Malouda tends play his socks off in the last 8 - 10 games of the season, with, maybe last season being an exception, when he was consistent the whole way through. Why? I have no idea.

Probably more to be said on the subject, but, Drogba back in form, Lampard coming back to form and a decent bench to select from. Been a bit of a drum to bang for me lately....but Drogba again for me. Would of gone for Malouda, but, thought Drogba's inspiration ran through the entire team. I will set one up next time instead of whinging in another thread!

The title was correct, but my leading post should of stated 'MOTM' not 'MOTD', as there was not the usual Man of The Match thread after the game!!!! Apologies everyone.

Is there no MOTD for the Birmingham game, as it would be another Drogba whitewash?

I am surrounded by season ticket holders where I sit in the SU and it has to be said, I have never known opinions to shift so quickly when it comes to Drogba....during the Scolari reign, you would have thought he was murdering people, if you listened to the surrounding seats...last season he was God. I can see why he has had a bad press in the past, but, surely the diving and petulance has almost reduced to non existence. Is it not time people appreciated him for the influence and part he has played in the silverware we have run since he has been here? It was good to hear the crowd singing his name yesterday, during a spell where he was doing little else other than be on the pitch. In my opinion this happens too little for a player who seems to thrive on adulation.

My take is, that, he will win us games and lose us some for now, but, as time goes by the ratios of wins to losses will become higher and higher.

This sums it up for me! I will be devastated if he goes.

Got to agree with Mikel being better in the holding role based on recent form...would of liked to have seen a few more starts for him this season.

A season ticket costing £880 this year, SU/MHU was £835 last year. I put the money in the bank as if I was buying a ticket as a member to cover next years season ticket....£50 a game normally covers it....could still do without the additional lay out.

Drogba again. I was disappointed he didn't play from the start, especially since we started with a formation that I thought was ideal for him. Thought Malouda and Ramires had a good game as well.

Yes, the book is sold as non-fiction, but, reads almost like fiction, although, I have no idea if the the names and some of the more telling details have been changed for the sake of keeping identities concealed.
