  1. O my god I can still smell the half cooked burgers and fried onions.
  2. A new chant for the rest of the season might be He's coming home he's coming Jose's coming home. One lion on my shirt etc
  3. Jose has already said in a recent interview that he would be prepared to work with Roman again and he has Chelsea in his heart like no other club. I know he would return, but the problem is as always Roman. Roman would need to let Jose deal with the running of the team without interfering and that includes potential signings (no more Sheva situations). Roman would also have to accept that he was wrong to remove Jose in the first place (a decision from which we have never fully recovered). There is just something amazing when Jose and Chelsea are mentioned together- they go together like strawberries and cream
  4. If we want Jose back there has never been a better time then now to start singing his name at every game
  5. And singing we all agree Chelsea and wolves are magic or something like that
  6. We won promotion the week before with the draw at Wolves and we all came out to party at the final game with Hull. I remember the game seeming totally incidental as we waited for the end so that we could run onto the pitch
  7. We are the first London Club to win the champions league and that can never now be done by any other side from the capital. Whatever other rubbish that our rivals fans come up with -we don't don't have to give a sh*t. WE know what we are, champions of Europe, we know what we are
  8. If my memory serves me right we were singing "we all agree super Chelsea are magic" at the time when we were flimed
  9. That's another fine mess you got us into Roman lol
  10. My nearest club growing up was Portsmouth, although these days I live close to Brighton's new stadium. When I was a young boy in the 60's a Friend of the family from Manchester tried to get me supporting United, but that was blow out of the water when I watched Chelsea beat Leeds in the 1970 FA cup final replay on our old black and white TV. It was love at first sight and that love has stayed with me ever since. I am disgusted with some of the things that have been done at our club in the past few years and in particular the removal of Jose. But I will never let the likes of Rafa or any other waste of space come between me and my Chelsea.
  11. yes I was at the United game and remember something going on in the seats above at one stage although from where I was i could not see what. I also nearly got crushed by a police horse on the way in because of the slope and people pushing forward.

The bond between Chelsea fans and Jose is unbreakable and always will be, This guy loves our club and supporters and we love him. It is true that we never really got over his departure and deep down we all know that had Roman not shown such stupidity in sacking him, we would have gone on to win far more trophies then we did. Chelsea and Jose are a divorce that should never have happened and if Roman has any sense at all he will get down on bended Knees, beg Jose for forgiveness and bring him home to the club he loves.
  14. AS sad as it is about R D M, I think we need to focus on the future Those who want Jose to come home next season should start the campaign now. Every game give Roman a reminder of Jose and how much affection there is from Chelsea fans for the special one. As for Rafa, he is in the eyes of most Chelsea fans a dead man walking right from day one. Grant nearly won us the champions league but was never accepted and Rafa will be the same whatever.
  15. Jose to return next summer-well we can dream can't we
  16. Yes indeed it always was a special place back in the day
  17. Strangely enough I ended up marrying a Bolton lass so it must have let a lasting impression lol
  18. For me it will always be that 4-3 game v Bolton at the Bridge. In an otherwise dire season,it was a moment of pure joy. A large group of us sang heartily all the way from the Bridge and down the Kings road to Sloane Square after the match, with our own personal mini police escort in attendance( which we seemed to have picked up on the way). These were the great days of my late teens following the mighty Chelsea
  19. Really I did not know that-another reason to dislike the paper
  20. We all know what the racist idiot in the picture is no question, but the way in which the story was linked in the earlier version with our long distant past was in my opinion purely a means to incite more anti -Chelsea hatred. They really don't like us for some reason
  21. Why does the Daily Mail hate us so much. They are constantly stirring the pot with any chance they get to wind up the rest of the football community against us. Today for instance, they pick out one fan in a photo from yesterdays league cup match with Manchester United, who appears to be making a racist gesture to a black player and then linked it to the issues Chelsea had with racism many years ago. They implied that we Chelsea fans are all a bunch of racist scum aided and abetted by the club. The Mail of course got the reaction it wanted and its on-line forum has been inundated with other club fans calling Chelsea football club and its fan base racist scum etc.. The thing that really gets me is that those same fans who express such horror against racism are so bigoted themselves. If you take away the colour of skin and replace it with the colour of a football shirt as an object of hate are you not just being a hypercritical moron. I think we need to launch a formal compliant in some way against the Mail for incitement. I have never been a racist in my life and am sick and tired of papers like the Mail stirring up the mob to insult Me my family (all Chelsea), my club and our supporters. Sorry for the rant but I am so angry
  22. Are you talking about the game when loads of Liverpool school kids were housed in the West Stand and were making a right din. It sounded like one of those old England schoolboy matches they used to televise from Wembley. Us Shed End lads thought it was very amusing
  23. . I was in the Shed in 1978 for the Liverpool game and again when we played them a few weeks later in a league game. The papers were full of stories about how Liverpool were coming back to the Bridge for revenge for the 4-2 defeat, but we battered them that day as well 3-1 I think. We were in the old 1st
