What trophy brought you the most happiness?
For me the 97 cup final and the biggest ten men ever witnessed, the whole end of the old Wembley. This was the start of our comeback as a succesful and well organised club; shame we seem to be slipping back in the other direction.

A move from Stamford Bridge
I am inclined to agree with Carshalton above and may well vote No. This is the only leverage we as fans really have with the club and once it has gone they can pretty much do what they like. I dont want to make any financial gain from my CPO but I do want to have a say in what the club does with SB.

Chelsea allies?
Woking comes in to the catchment as it has always been a strong area for Chelsea. When they had a good cup run in the 90's there were some 10,000 fans away at Everton and a lot of Chelsea were present. I also recall a cup game where Peter Bonetti turned out for Woking, played a blinder even though he was in his fifties.

Anyone got a list of all the pre- season honours?
Does anyone know the year of the Forest weekend mentioned by Bovis above? It was a cracking couple of days and an excellent turnout for Chelsea. I recall Matthew Harding holding Court in the Bell Pub on the Saturday night buying drinks for anyone who seeemd to walk in. Memory is a bit foggy but I think it was the same year that lebouf and Vialli joined us. Shame the club choses to promote itself abroad now rather than these tournaments in the UK, much more fun for us fans.

Favourite "One Off" Moment at SB
The memory is fading but I think it was 83/84 against Norwich, soaking wet night with more water on the pitch than grass. last game of the season and Joey Jones belly flopped in to a huge puddle and swam breast stroke at the end of the game. His last game I seem to recall. I think we needed a win to enter Europe but didn't matter anyway as the scousers put an end to European football for English clubs for 5 years.

Masters Football on Saturday
No a bad day out but a bit thread bare in terms of players available, not just for Chelsea but for other teams too. We were poor and did not make the final stages. I presume most of the big names were still away on their holidays. I enjoy watching the old boys play but at £30 a throw will give this a swerve in the future.

1983-85 pictures of Stamford Bridge
Not the easiest of images to view, but I would guess at Johnny B and Gareth Hall however, I don't think these 4 were in the team at the same time but am probably wrong.

Zola offered coaching role at Chelsea?
I love Zola, my favourite ever chelsea player but is he any good as a coach? Italy U21's I think and then WHU, great players don't always make great coaches. I would hate it not to work out for him and have him dumped for lack of success. Also, shouldn't the manager be picking his assistants? Seems strange that rumours of coaches are abound before a manager has been finalised.

Stepping on enemy territory
I never enjoy sitting amongst away fans as you have to sit on your hands but I did on one occassion some 15 years ago. We played Liverpool at the bridge early January (could have been a cup game) and the only tickets I could get were in the Liverpool section which in those days was East Lower next to the Shed. We won and the camera panned along a line of these miserable hacked of scousers and came to me with a big grin on my face.

If only ....................................
My worse Chelsea match. After years of misery I thought we had finally cracked it, it tooks me months to get over that day.

Why do Chelsea hate Tottenham ?
For all the problems in the past I must admit that my hatred of Spurs and their fans eased when we played them after Mattew Harding's death. You could have heard a pin drop in the bridge that day.

Defending corners and set pieces
I can see the value of bringing Drogs back to defend a corner but simply cannot understand why we bring everyone back to defend. When the ball is cleared up field it simply goes to the opposition and we are under pressure again. If you leave at least one player on the halfway line you have a chance of mounting an attack from this player or they can hold up play (Makalele) until help arrives. Is it the Italian over-defensive way of playing?

First time going to SB
Take an extra pair of laces for your DM's, there will be the usual free for all after the game for those the Old Bill removed and tied to the barriers outside the shed.

Games that still keep you awake
94 cup final for me, I was depressed for months after. A great cup run culminating with the Luton semi final and the whole ground singing Kerry Dixon off the pitch. I thought our time in the sun had finally come back but we were spanked in the rain at Wembley. Never been so miserable after game.

Zhirkov could quit Chelsea
I agree he needs a run in his natural position but other than the odd exception have found him to be a rather average player. Jury's still out on him for me.

Manager next season
Voted Carlo, only because John Neal was not an option.

If summer clearout happens?
I recall we had a clearout last summer with 5 big players leaving and we are still suffering from the shake down of that. The break up of the best squad of players we have ever had was always going to happen at some time but it really needs to be handled correctly. For whatever reason CA didn't think the kids were good enough to make the step up and perhaps this is why Arnesen is on his way out. I hope the club learn from the past and ease this transition rather than wholesale changes.

Chelsea v Everton (FA Cup) 19/02/11 KO 12:30 GMT
fair play to the blue mickeys, respectful with applause for the passing of our former player before kick off and again for the U12's who paraded a European trophy at half time. I have never had a problem with Everton fans, unlike the red side of their city. I do hate the way we give away fans the shed, probably the most acoustic area of the ground so we always get outsung. Shove them up in the gods of the east upper.

Time for AFC Chelsea?
An interesting topic. The majority of friends I attended football with in the 70's and 80's no longer go to Chelsea games, due mainly to the cost. I am fortunate that I can afford to go but am becoming more and more disillusioned with so called top class football. It is all about money with little or no consideration for the fans. I doubt I would travel in to London to support the equivalent of a non-league team when I can support Woking which is a 10 minute drive to the ground. The problem is the quality of the football at that level, it is often dire but it does hold an old era charm.

Chelsea v Everton (FA Cup) 19/02/11 KO 12:30 GMT
Without Saha I can see us having a very frustrating time trying to break them down. They will pack the midfield and if we faff about without any width again our forwards will see little service. Option 1: A telling pass from Josh to Drogs for a 1-0 win. Option 2: Borini off the bench with a hat trick in the last 5 minutes. :)

Michael Essien
His problems have been magnified by recent average performances from Malouda, Lamps and Mikel who all seem to be out of sorts. I simply do not understand why CA didn't give Josh a chance 2nd half against Fulham, there seemed little to lose. off subject but what has happened to Yuri? malouda could do with some competition on the left.

Ticket prices
No mate, nearly £60 to sit in my own seat in the shed upper and as I also have to buy for my lad I am giving this a swerve.

Why Critisise Drogba All The Time?!
I think Drogs’ form this season has generally been quite poor, no doubt due to his Malaria which can takes an eternity to recover fully from. Currently he seems to be more of a nuisance to the opposition defence rather than a threat. He has been a fantastic player for us but there comes a time when you have to ask if we have had the best out of him and how much longer can we rely on him to deliver. Given his age, I imagine a decision will be made either at the end of this season or next.

Transfer policy
I suppose time will tell but the experiment did not work yesterday. I had hoped the purchase of Torres would give the under-performing forwards and midfielders a kick up the backside but it did not happen. We seemed to change too much to accomodate just one player. Frank never liked playing in a Diamond and he was pushed further back as Nic was in this position. We desperately needed width yesterday but there was not outlet for it. What has happended to Zhirkof? Incidentally, was they your new German flag in the Shed Upper yesterday?
