Yes stamina is definitely an issue , to tackle that bring on youngsters as much as possible in the second half , let the experienced players play the first half , for stability , and let the youngsters explode in the second half Wenger used to do this a lot , and it is used to help quite a bit as far as i remember Also , i'd hate to say this , but the club needs an instrumental figure , to lead from the front , not someone who is short of confidence(lamps) or someone who is being brutally treated by the media(terry) To me this figure can come in the form of Essien , but unfortunately , he is injured , i really cant wait for him to comeback Terry has to focus harder , hes slipping up a lot of late!!

Im just going to say one thing I took a look at phil jones , and then got shocked when he was forced to play at DM I dint really think he would make it , but hes young , hes got good heart , and they like throwing him in different positions to see which suits him best , because even he makes bombing runs when he plays as CB ,and doesnt watch out for his position , which leaves them exposed Luiz is much better at doing that , and he has a much better touch , and i think he has the biggest heart and passion WHen you put a CB in DM , you have the aerial advantage , and also they tend to put in more tackles and more pressure , being trained as a CB , rotating the ball shouldnt be hard for our man LUiz , hes got great touch , and im pretty sure he can pull off tricks Till he gets adjusted to the system , i really prefer experience over pace and i think we should just switch between Alex , JT , Ivan , and when Bruma comes back , give bruma a try to see how he works out ATM , Luiz for DM , i agree too , If sir alex and capello saw something good in jones to play him at DM , i see much more in Luiz, he should be tried as a DM in one game atleast

When comparing ivanovic and bosingwa Please do remember that ivanovic provided the game winning cross against a scrappy blackburn , and he also provided a pin-point equalizing cross against QPR , which anelka sorta messed up , and he played amazing even with 9 men i do understand why bosingwa is good , and he has his perks But i still think ivanovic should start for stability , and in the club , you cant have both the flanks running forward leaving behind the defense as we arent playing two Defensive midfielders to fill the void , so i suggest playing ashley to push up , and then playing ivanovic

IMO Chelsea FC , has always been a club known for its stern defense , rather than its flashy attacking i think even in the previous years, pre abrohamovich , and post , we have always been a club , that had a very strong defense , mostly because of the players in it , and the strategies that used to be worked out In the past , we have always been famous for throwing tremendous amount of light because of our amazing defensive midfielders (claude makelele and michael essien , being the most popular figures) The thing that is happening now is , when we play both Bossy and Ashley , they both push too much , which forces the defensive midfielders to revert back to their position , there is nothing wrong with that , but then youll need two , out and out defensive midfielders , youll have to field both mikel and romeu , if thats the case So instead , of that happening , we can just replace bossy with a more stable RB like ivanovic ( BTW , for those of you who think ivanovic is less attacking when compared to bosingwa , please dont generalize , hes always been a runner , but he cares more about defending scores rather than scoring them , and his crossing is way better , 9 man chelsea were able to flourish against QPR the way they did only because of ivanovic and ashley cole , and they dint concede as easy , because ivanovic was there to rescue , and he never left a hole open on a wing , which bosingwa tends to do , Ivanovic was the one who set up with 4 yard header for anelka against QPR with that brilliant cross for those of you who are forgetting ) As for the center backs , however you pair it , youll need 1 runner and 1 tactician , over the years , terry used to be the runner .... desailly , carvalho and the others used to be the tactical geniuses , but now terry has become older and lets face it , he is now the tactician with a rich amount of knowledge of the game , he has become calmer and knows how to handle and organize the defense , even though he isnt the set piece threat he once was So how do you fix a defense that used to be unbreakable ? Bring someone exactly who used to be like Terry , to play alongside him , That is !!! *DAVID LUIZ* , hes feisty , hes aggressive , but he must gain experience , he has good long balls , just like the captain , and tries to start up a play when nothing seems to work out . He does however , need to discipline himself , and also learn the trades of the english game . So if Luiz fails in trying to do so , bring in ALEX! , he maybe clumsy , maybe a little slow or lazy , but hes the only viable option we have while we develop luiz. None of these defensive shambles would have happened if the Michael Essien was availible :( Also , i feel ramires scoring a few goals is great , but the lad seems to forget to run back once in a while , hes a great athlete , they should let frank stay up front a little longer and ask ramires to do the carrying

I dont see why you guys are flipping about Benayoun We have Mata and we have sturridge and we have so many players , besides benayoun has the achilles tendon problem , which is going to haunt him and if we rely too much on Yossi , it will hamper our season I see this as a good move , getting a more stable central midfielder in the form of meireles , instead of benayoun , and besides its a loan , so if benayoun does have a good season , we can always keep him for next season , although it would be unlikely that he would stay

I really liked Stotch and mutu , but both of them drunkards , misbehave very often Robben was a star at chelsea , his attitude got him kicked out of the club though

All of this can only make Kalou stronger If he just plays his winger role better and complement the spearhead strikers , he can be the best in the world , undoubtedly , he should bulk up a little mostly because every defender just body jolsts him and he falls With time , he should become one heck of a player imo

In my opinion , ALEX and Terry shouldnt be playing alongside each other , Alex and terry are both the same kind of players , huge , a tad bit slow , but unbeatable in the air To complement either of them , you need a Luiz/Ivanovic , who are a lot younger and who are much quicker and can put in some really aggressive tackles as well as start off a really nice counter attack For those of you who say Ivanovic is slow , i disagree , i think him playing in the RB position for a season , made him a lot faster then he was In my opinion , LUIZ is the hero , but i feel i would go with ivanovic and terry , most stable partnership

Dont think we need modric anymore tbh our team is fine , with mata arriving , wouldnt mind modric , but hope that happens for a decent price IMO , the rush for modric is just to make the squad younger maybe
