  1. That's OK. I take a lot of grief on this forum, since my favourite Serie A team is Lazio, who many people on this forum hate (they think that their fans are Fascists, which I don't think is true).
  2. Welcome, Viv. I also live in Virginia, and wear my Chelsea scarf to work each day with pride. So, if you see someone in the DC Metro with a Chelsea scarf, you will know it's me (since I have never, ever seen anyone else wear a Chelsea scarf here). If you have FSC, you can plenty of Chelsea matches, and also if you have a broadband Internet connection, there usually is a good video stream that you can catch the game on when it is not shown on FSC.
  3. Yeah, I agree it is a slightly exaggerated view, but Loz seems to agree with me. To be honest, I have forgotten how we played against Burnley, and so I really cannot comment if we were as bad then. Credit to Hull City for putting in a gutsy performance. When will Bossy be available? It seems like ages ago since he played his last game for us.
  4. For me, the negativity was due to us being outplayed by a bottom of the table team, whereby I could not put blame on the referee for screwing us out of a goal. That makes it a result that is difficult to swallow, especially after seeing ManU play so well in taking apart Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. I am trying to stay positive, but after seeing how dreadful our midfield played, and after seeing Rooney and Park running throughout the entire game and creating chances after chances, it does make me worry.
  5. Thank you, Mod and/or Loz, for removing that irritant who did not get it.
  6. You are new to the forum, and please understand that first impressions are lasting impressions, and you made some really bad impressions on us veterans on the forum. Good luck changing those impressions.
  7. I voted Sturridge, since he came in and made a difference, and if not for Myhill, would have given us a late winner.
  8. I think we were wise to stand pat with what he already have. We have a lot of good young players, many on loan, and I think that they will do just fine. Kakuta, Stoch, Borini, . . ..
  9. What happened to the Shed End forum for the last 3 or 4 hours? I could not access it at all. Was it those god damned North Koreans with a denial of service attack against us?
  10. No, Loz, don't you know that if Arsenal wins this game, they will have a letdown for their next game against us, and if they get drummed, they will come out with guns ablazing against us? This is the worst possible thing for us.
  11. Rooney scores. 0 - 2. Now who are the fools on this forum who want ManU to win, or who want a draw? Isn't it clear to anyone with a half-brain that ManU is our main threat for the title? Come-on, Arsenal (Forlorn hope, I know)!
  12. Thanks, Ruh Buh Juh. Someone else told me that exact same thing that you said about the sequel, New Moon, a total snore-fest. Twilight was showing on our Satellite movie channel, and so I watched it. I will see Let The Right One In and 30 Days of Night, but I will have to go to the movie rental store and get them (not today, since we had 17 cm of snow last night).
  13. Who is Michael Calvin? He really should have kept his letter to JT private.
  14. I'll say it again -- ManU is out greatest threat, by far, and so if Arsenal gets all 3 points, I will be ecstatic. Arsenal will finish the season 10 points behind us and ManU, I promise you. So, a draw in my view will be a not-so-good result for us, since it brings ManU 1 point closer to us.
  15. Well, to put a postive spin on things, it was between the Pikeys and the y*ds, and so in that case, either way it was going to be bad for us.
  16. That is an excellent movie. O.K., the glittering vampire was a bit much. Also, I liked Kung Pow Cow much more than Twilight.
  17. Not to quibble, but his two goals got us 4 points (since without those goals, we would have drawn those games).
  18. I think Sophie is brain addled. I am glad that you posted, Mod, since I thought I was missing something obvious in her post concerning England's chances, and now I know that is not the case.
  19. No, a ManU win will not help us, mark my words. Arsenal will not be a threat to us this season (next season, definitely yes), but ManU will.
  20. Lynyrd Skynyrd - Rock Music. Beatles - Not Rock Music. Rolling Stones - Rock Music. Bjork - Drivel.
  21. I want Arsenal to win, since I really feel that they will be at least 10 points behind us and ManU at the end of the season, and that ManU is our greatest threat. Rooney will carry them on his big back, and that alone is a scary thought. Go Gunners! (only for tomorrow)
  22. Just saw Twilight, and I thought that I would hate it, since it was such a cult classic with the 20 somethings. I was surprised to say that I found it very well done, and I am looking forward to seeing the sequel (I think there will also be a third movie as well, but I am not sure about that). Saw Desperate Measures, starring Mel Gibson, and it was OK (had all of the typical cliches and plot twists that annoy me).
  23. WHAT??? I loved that movie. Brilliant premise, and super funny.
