MOTM vs Watford
Can't wait for that. I rolled the dice, and came up with Belletti. I don't see any better way to vote for MoM, without having video of the "full" game.

Strange feeling; wanting Leeds to win
No, I was totally for Leeds to knock out our biggest rivals for the FA Cup. Leeds look really good, and probably would be a mid-table team in the Premier League if they were playing there this season. 5 minutes of added time was a joke, but credit to Leeds for holding on at the end.

malouda is the first to break ranks and start to moan
Lofty? Anyway, Joe Cole has played horribly since coming back from his injury, and perhaps he will get back to his old self, and perhaps not. At this time, I think the odds are that Joe Cole will never be the same player that he was before the injury.

bands you have seen
Since you saw Kelly Osbourne, and apparently not under the influence of drugs at the time, you should committ suppuku right now.

The fall and fall of Freddy Adu
Living in DC, I am well aware of the fall and fall of Freddy Adu. He was sh*t for DC United, and never improved one iota. He was never motivated to train, and is a big partier, according to the rumours. Also, he is a totally one-footed (left) player. I do not wish him well, since he was a cancer at DC United, and probably so at the other teams that he has gone to.

Following our nearest and dearest rivals
I'm not worried. Even if ManU pulls ahead over the next few months, I think that we have the talent and that they will have problems with the good teams.

Who would you play at the tip of the diamond?
Let's try Belletti.

Oh, I forgot about that great movie. It always makes me cry, and I seldom cry when watching a movie. Another movie I like a lot is 'Somewhere in Time', with Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour. It is a bit smaltzy, but I dare you not to cry at the end of that movie.

MOTM vs Birmingham
For me, it was no contest, with Kalou doing fantastic for the 25 minutes he was on.

Birmingham vs Chelsea (26/12/09) 1245 KO
There is now a MoM poll thread.

Birmingham vs Chelsea (26/12/09) 1245 KO
I do not agree that this was two points "badly" dropped, since Brum could easily have came away with all three points. We are not a good away team this season, and so this result is not surprising to me.

Birmingham vs Chelsea (26/12/09) 1245 KO
Well, for one, if Mikel was to give up another foul about 20 meters away from our goal, to thereby allow Brum to have a great chance to score on a free kick, I would have myself taken the next BA flight to Birmingham and personally throttled him.

On a positive note, Cech's save on Larson's free kick was exceptional, and he is looking very good. Also, Kalou was our MoM by far, with very inspirational play the moment he came on.

Should i get this sacked
I agree that you should call him in out on his behaviour, which was way out of order. If he was just joking around, that is one thing, but he went well past the line by his actions.

Fav Movies By Genre
I like your choices, BB. I always thought Logan's Run was an excellent movie, and seeing a young Farrah Fawcett run around made it doubly good. I must agree that DDD was indeed a romantic movie (it was also other things as well). My only change would be to add a movie no-one watched, Bang the Drum Slowly, as my pick for best sports movie. Zulu is probably on my top 3 list of best in any genre.

Brittany Murphy dies aged 32
At first, I thought she might have had a cardiac arrest from shoveling snow, since in the mid-Atlantic region we had 50 cm of snow yesterday. I certainly had a rough time today shoveling out my driveway today. But, I then heard that she died in Los Angeles, so that was not it. I also liked her as an actress.

West Ham vs Chelsea (Prem) 20/12/09, 1600 KO
For one thing, it is not automatic that if you encroach on a free kick you get a yellow card. For another, if 7 players all encroach on a penalty, it would be unrealistic to give them all yellows.

Not perhaps -- definitely!

West Ham vs Chelsea (Prem) 20/12/09, 1600 KO
I thought Ballack played well in the midfield holding role, and was our only "muscle" out there, at least until Mikel came on and did well. Joe Cole was worthless, and had a Kalou-like performance.

MOTM ve West Ham
Question to the masses: Were the two retakes because at least one of our players was in the box? I assume so. However, for each instance, there were about 7 Pikeys in the box. So, that being the case, if Lamps would have missed, I would assume that the kick would be retaken, but I bet my last dollar that Mike Dean would not have allowed a retake if that happened.

West Ham vs Chelsea (Prem) 20/12/09, 1600 KO
Good point, Virosh. Also, Carvalho was up to his shirt-grabbing worst on two corners for West Ham, and those could both have been penalties for them. He is playing a dangerous game, and it will definitely cost us in the future, since I cannot imagine that the refs know about his antics.

West Ham vs Chelsea (Prem) 20/12/09, 1600 KO
Ballack was very, very good. Will someone teach Joe Cole how to shoot the ball, since he is horrible. Full credit to Mikel, who made some good forward-going passes when he came on.

MOTM ve West Ham
I agree with both Stride and Gem. What was Dean thinking by awarding retakes when it was the Pikey players who were swarming into the box? The penalty was soft, I must admit. On second thought, I disagree with Gem about Ivan, since Diamonte was turning him in circles, but that guy is a very skillful player.
